"..."

*Pah.* sliding his finger across the oriental fan's guard Duo Tian opens the fan fully with a resounding snap.

Hanging from the head of the fan is a decorative tassel and printed onto the leaves of the fan is the painting of a celestial fox with its tails spanning across the fan's body.

Compared to Li Jiu Tian's First Heaven that took on the form of a blade one would surely find it odd that Duo Tian's has taken on the form of a mundane object.

However as mundane in appearance as the fan might be Ji Di Tian didn't dare to underestimate it when his own signature treasures are a bamboo flute and a steel medallion.

Often times treasures of ordinary appearance are also those that possess the most difficult to deal with abilities and Duo Tian's First Heaven probably won't be an exception to this odd logic.

"..."

Maintaining his playful smile Duo Tian raises the oriental fan slowly and covers his face behind its leaves.

Despite how simplistic this bit of motion had been there was something captivating about it and with his attention drawn to the moving fan Duo Tian's figure vanishes in front of Ji Di Tian's eyes.

*...! ...! ...!* turning his head in the direction of this sound that is akin to a series of locks being undone Ji Di Tian sees Duo Tian retrieving an item from one of the many components that made up the black pyramid.

(Are all these components that made up that black pyramid supposed to be a storage device of some kind?)

"Indeed they are."

Predicting Ji Di Tian's thought as he retrieves a spear from within one of the many components Duo Tian answers the question on the former's mind.

"Much like this child only the finest Divine Armaments crafted by the hands of my aunt are stored away with me."

Emanating from the body of the golden spear is its weapon spirit that takes on the form of a serpentine dragon and despite it being an existence that could only amount to an ant before the eyes of a monarch it was fearlessly glaring at Ji Di Tian with great ferocity.

[Quite a capable woman she is.]

Seeing not a hint of fear in the weapon spirit's eyes Ji Di Tian can't help but think that he had underestimated Shu Tian Xiao, the creator of the black pyramid who is also Duo Tian's aunt.

[But she is still just one of the many inferior lifeforms that exist in this world. In the eyes of her family members wasn't she considered a failure for not being able to sort through her own feelings towards the two individuals she held dearest?]

"..."

Beautiful yet fear inducing to any that would dare to gaze, that is the kind of smile that had appeared on Duo Tian's face upon Ji Di Tian's utterance of these words.

"Did you hear that?"

Directing the spear towards Ji Di Tian the ominous purple glow in Duo Tian's eyes deepen and similarly the ferocity of the weapon spirit's glare sharpens.

*...!* in the next instance his figure vanishes once more and upon his reappearance the spear held in Duo Tian's hand was already pressed onto Ji Di Tian's chest!

[...!]

Caught by surprise Ji Di Tian's eyes widen in astonishment as a stinging sensation of pain emanates from the center of his chest!

"..."

Coldly driving the spear an inch into Ji Di Tian's flesh Duo Tian pours the strength of his cultivation base into the weapon causing the weapon spirit to release a sonorous howl of draconic might!
