"From the very beginning of the war declaration I've been representing my aunt. I'm generally not the sort to take back the words that I've already said. So should I choose to use my Absolute Laws now I would be making a hypocrite of myself by challenging someone that I've already deemed to be unworthy of my time."

Since Duo Tian has chosen to represent Shu Tian Xiao who is innately one of the myriad lifeforms that came into being under the reign of the ten Original Monarchs the purpose of this war would have been lost the moment he chose to use an Absolute Law of his own because this form of power is considered by the myriad lifeforms to be unique to the ten Original Monarchs alone, a power that they shouldn't be capable of wielding.

[You intend to defeat me using the means of her and her peers alone. To go as far as to limit yourself this much, aren't you thinking far too highly of them?]

"Hahaha and funny enough it was these same exact means of her and her peers alone that have landed you in your current predicament. Rather ironic isn't it?"

Basking himself within a sea of dark flames and hearing these words of plain mockery that is smeared with Duo Tian's jeering laughter Ji Di Tian glances at the Asura Monarch but rather quickly he realized that the latter's presence wouldn't have made any difference.

If anything it was Ye Gui Feng and the azure colored spirit energy that is unique to him that made a major splash in the equation.

"Under ordinary circumstances those who do not wield the power of Absolute Laws shouldn't even be capable of touching you and yet that wound on your chest that is created by this blade; a product of her fragile hands that is capable of containing Li Jiu Tian's Absolute Laws has achieved what shouldn't be possible by the standards of you and your peers."

[...]

For someone that isn't a monarch but is capable of creating a vessel strong enough to contain a monarch's Absolute Laws is indeed unheard of and because of this regardless of how Ji Di Tian goes about denying Shu Tian Xiao it doesn't change the fact that she has achieved something that gave her the rights to hold her head high before a genuine monarch.

"Before you go thinking that you still have a chance to turn all this around the moment my First Heaven expires I'll tell you this right now."

A condescending smirk appears on Duo Tian's face as he continues with-

"Even if it expires it doesn't change anything. In fact, I'll do you a favor right now."

*Thump...!* upon the snapping of Duo Tian's fingers the monarch level phantom slows the rotation of their cultivation base and in the same instance the effects of time's forceful passage that is whittling away at Ji Di Tian's body abruptly halts.

Following this the final remnants of Ji Rong Kingdom along with the monarch level phantom begins to fade.

Corresponding to this the blazing flames that are burning away at the two celestial bodies that represented the First Heaven is extinguished as they and the other celestial bodies vanish from sight.

[...]

An odd sense of wariness rises in Ji Di Tian's heart at the sight of Duo Tian's voluntarily actions of putting a stop to the activities of his First Heaven.

Even with the activities of the First Heaven ceased Ji Di Tian's body still struggles with attempting to recuperate from his wounds making it to clear to him that-

(...Seems like it really won't make much of a difference when my wounds are this bad. I need time to figure out the bizarre nature of that azure colored spirit energy, then find a way to counter it. As for the forceful passage of time that is caused by that phantom... Both of these are akin to poison, unless I permanently remove them from my body I won't be able to make a full recovery. Had I not made a small breakthrough would I have survived up to this point?)

Having thought about all that's happened thus far it made logical sense for Ji Di Tian to take retreat into consideration but-

"Now then you're surely not the type to just retreat after coming this far hence..."

The condescending flavor of Duo Tian's smile vanishes and replacing it is the flavor of twisted cruelty.

"I must thoroughly crush your will."

All lifeforms regardless of their origin will have a sense of presence attached to them.

There are many ways for one to hide their presence but even the greatest method of presence concealment has its limits.

This ultimately means that it is impossible to thoroughly hide one's presence of existence so long as they are a living being and yet-

"A string of reasons must ultimately lead to a conclusion of some kind. In this case why is it that I am instinctively considered by you monarchs as "the strongest abnormality in all of existence?"

In that instance the entirety of Duo Tian's presence, his proof of being a living being has vanished without a trace.

[...]

As someone who wasn't around during the time in which Duo Tian's existence had been discovered the Asura Monarch is clearly not in the knows of this matter but in Ji Di Tian's case-

[Because you shouldn't exist and yet-]

"And yet here and now zhèn (朕 Meaning: We) stand in front of you. Going off the basis of logic it is indeed appropriate to describe Us as an abnormality."

[...]

[...]

The reason isn't clear to Ji Di Tian or the Asura Monarch but the more they looked at the current Duo Tian who has changed his form of self-addressed to "We" the more inanimate his existence seems to become.

"None of you know why We can logically exist. After all Our father Li Jiu Tian is but a self-conscious clone of Ji Tian Huang created by the latter on a whim whereas Our mother is but one of the many fragile lifeforms in existence. An offspring between the two in theory shouldn't be possible so it makes very little sense for Us to exist hence We are an abnormality."

[.........]

Slowly realizing where all of this is pointing towards Ji Di Tian's complexion pales as a single conclusion dawns upon him.

However, within Ji Di Tian's show of fear there is also a trace of excitement. Should what he is thinking of be true then-

"We are not truly a living entity. Flesh, regardless of form whether it be physical or spiritual is but a vessel-"

A colossal shadow, one that a person cannot see the full shape of without standing at least a few thousand meters away manifests behind Duo Tian but just as the shadow's appearance truly begins to gain clarity Duo Tian's body disappears from sight and finishing the words that he was in the process of saying-

[They are nothing more than a tool meant for Us to interact with the outside world.]

Is an androgynous voice that originates from within the colossal structure.
