Breath choking silence looms in the air as Duo Tian and Ji Di Tian looks to one another with hostility.

Clearly neither of them are willing to back down under the circumstances.

For Ji Di Tian this was a matter of bringing down judgment on an insignificant lifeform that had dared to act against him while also putting an end to the taboo existence that stands before him.

For Duo Tian this was a matter of testing himself against his mortal enemy.

Although Ji Di Tian wasn't directly involved in the destruction of his homeland the former is one of the ten Original Monarchs and amongst this group he is considered to be one of its leaders.

Just that alone is already a good enough reason for Duo Tian to label Ji Di Tian as an enemy and above all else-

"I was never the sort to let even the smallest amount of grievances to go unsettled."

Just as it would seem like the tension filled silence will continue the first to move and break this tranquility is Duo Tian as he takes one step forward.

Being forced to sleep for so many centuries with a burning grudge constantly on his mind Duo Tian was actually looking forward to having a brawl with Ji Di Tian as a means to make his presence known to the ten monarchs.

*...!!!* this one step from Duo Tian causes the air beneath his foot to burst and as this tear expands in size it quickly passes through the bodies of those who are present.

As soon as the ripple caused by Duo Tian's footstep blows through their bodies the three monarchs who are looking on from a distance away couldn't help but be astonished as they felt an eerie chill sliding down the center of their spine!

In the amount of time it takes for sparks to fly Duo Tian appears in front of Ji Di Tian with his right fist an inch away from the latter's face!

Towards Duo Tian's attack Ji Di Tian quickly recovers from his state of shock as he moves his head by the smallest margin necessary to evade the incoming blow.

And having dodged this attack Ji Di Tian takes five steps back while performing a single-handed incantation gesture.

Immediately walls of unknown scriptures manifests to surround Duo Tian from all sides while a sea of flames is ignited beneath his feet!

At the wave of Ji Di Tian's left hand a massive object appears over Duo Tian's head and looking at this object from a distance away one would easily recognize it to be a lid of some kind.

The moment this lid appears the walls of ancient scriptures arranged themselves into a specific formation that resembles the round body of a pill cauldron.

[****!]

Heeding to Ji Di Tian's command that is spoken in an unknown language the lid crashes down from above as it seals the lips of the pill cauldron and towards this situation-

"Insolence."

Realizing Ji Di Tian's intentions to refine him a cold glimmer of light flashes from Duo Tian's purple eyes as he rotates his cultivation base.

*!!!!!!!!* spreading his arms apart Duo Tian's body erupts with power causing nine phantom fox tails to appear behind his back!

As the volume of these phantom fox tails fill the space inside of the pill cauldron the wall of ancient scriptures begins to distort as they are forced to expand!

*...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...!* it didn't take long for the phantom fox tails to pierce through the wall of scriptures as they shred the pill cauldron apart!

As soon as this happens Ji Di Tian performs another incantation gesture causing a secondary wall of scriptures to form.

A lid similar to the first appears over Duo Tian's head and as it begins to fall a new pill cauldron seems to be on the verge of being formed however-

*Boom!!!* appearing beneath the falling lid Duo Tian doesn't wasting any time as he strikes out a punch that instantly shatters it!

Without giving Ji Di Tian any time to react to the situation Duo Tian appears in front of the former in the next instance while sweeping his right leg towards them!

Knowing that he didn't have enough time to retreat from this attack Ji Di Tian reaches his left hand out to block it and-

[...!]

*Kakaka!!!* to his astonishment the moment his left hand meets Duo Tian's leg the bones beneath his flesh shatters and as if his body weighted nothing he is thrown aside by the impact!

Catching up to Ji Di Tian in one flash Duo Tian manipulates the phantom fox tails behind him as they converge upon the former like nine lances!

Recovering his balance Ji Di Tian waves his right hand to manipulate the fabrics of time and space through his Absolute Laws forcing it to become his shield in the face of this attack and-

*BOOM!!!!!!!!* with a sound reminiscence to the sort made from the flattening of an entire mountain the phantom fox tails pierces through the dimensional shield with the ease of a knife through paper!

"*** **** ** ***."

*BOOM!!!!!!!!* following the mutters of Duo Tian the phantom tails erupt into ashen colored flames and with beast like ferocity they explosively expand in size to swallow Ji Di Tian!
