Seeing these memories flipping through his head like the pages of a book Ji Di Tian can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of nostalgia however-

These weren't the only memories that are appearing in his head for amongst the memories that Ji Di Tian were familiar with there were also memories that felt foreign to him.

Instinctively Ji Di Tian knew that these memories didn't belong to himself for the landscapes that were contained in them were places that he has never visited in the past.

What makes these memories even stranger for him was the fact that they were fragmented and with them being this way it was difficult to make any sense of them.

(These memories don't belong to me so then...)

Who did they belong to originally if that was the case? And why would this person's memory appear in his head now of all times?

Even before Ji Di Tian can hope to sort these memories a shade of rust would begin to corrode them as a result of the Fourth Heaven's abilities to cut the past of those it comes into contact with.

[Strange...]

Seeing the way Ji Di Tian is behaving under the effects of the Fourth Heaven Yuzao Qian and Akatuosi can't help but feel that something was off.

The longer a person's conscience is spent in memory reminiscence under the effects of the Fourth Heaven's power the more difficult it would be for them to escape as time drags on.

But with Ji Di Tian's strength in his current state it felt strange to see that he was taking this long to emerge from his current predicament.

[Did he perhaps... Discovered something of interest?]

Despite their curiosities towards Ji Di Tian's discoveries they had no way to see what it is that the former is experiencing.

[Rather courageous of him to display such leisure. But I suppose this works out fine.]

Though they were wary of the way Ji Di Tian is behaving neither of them are the type that would let an opportunity slip from their grasp as Akatuosi controls the phantom body to lift the Fifth Heaven.

This is the blade that is meant to the cut the present existence of all that touches it and without a shred of mercy it is lowered in the next instance!

*...!* with Ji Di Tian's conscience currently immersed in a world of memories the sword Qi that originates from the Fifth Heaven lands effortlessly and having been hit by the Fourth Heaven prior to this-

The respective powers of the two Heavens run rampant in Ji Di Tian's body causing a violent tremor to course through his flesh!

Following this his body begins to turn transparent almost as if he was being erased from the plane of existence.

Simultaneously a change occurs to the world of memories that is being experienced by Ji Di Tian at this time.

Under the effects of this change the spreading of the rust colored shading that is corroding his memories hasten causing him to experience a sensation that is akin to free falling and-

(How careless of me...)

It was also then that his instincts warned him of danger snapping his focus away from his state of reminiscence.

(Seems like spending too much time under the effects of the Fourth Heaven has thrown me into a world formed of old memories. Right now my conscience is trapped inside of an illusion.)

*Kakaka.* having regained his situational awareness Ji Di Tian directs his attention to his right hand only to see a series of cracks spreading from the tip of his knuckles to his elbow.

(My physical body probably won't hold for much longer if my conscience continues to drift here. Since this is a world created from memories the easiest way to escape from it would be...)

Closing his eyes Ji Di Tian attempts to clear his head of all thoughts. So long as he can maintain a state of clear-mindedness for just an instance he would be able to return his conscience back to his physical body.

(Looks like he'll be waking up soon.)

Seeing Ji Di Tian's eyes that are gradually being filled with a light of clarity Yuzao Qian infuses his divine sense into the First Heaven's sword Qi and as a result of this-

*...!* the strength of the sword Qi erupts violently causing the cracks that were already present on Ji Di Tian's arm to reach his shoulder but-

Just as it would seem like the First Heaven's sword Qi will be able to sever Ji Di Tian's arm the former's conscience returns to their body and the first thing he does to fight back is to deal with the First Heaven's sword Qi by tightening the muscles of his right arm forcing the cracks that are present to close.

Without waste any time Ji Di Tian proceeds to shatter what remains of the First Heaven's sword Qi in a single motion!

*Boom!!!* the explosion that came about as a result of the sword Qi's destruction sends out a blast of sharp winds that cuts up Ji Di Tian's body while throwing his bloodied figure back!

But despite the injuries that has sustained a cold gleam continues to emanate from Ji Di Tian's eyes as he forces himself to push his fist out fully and with it-

He triggers the fourth phase of his Absolute Law!
