"..."

Looking over the lands of the Yaksha Dynasty Duo Tian can't help but frown.

The vastness of this land that belongs solely to the lifeforms created by the hands of the Yaksha Monarch is equal in size to all the Exalted Celestials' domains combined.

Sticking out of the earths are structures that resemble temples and palaces and judging by the subtle signs of wear these are probably the oldest buildings around.

Amongst this sea of temples and palaces there are also residential structures that show evidence of them being built in recent years.

Similar to the rest of the Primordial Continent the residents of this land are also frozen in time.

"This statue..."

The statue of Bai Yecha to the eyes of the common practitioners of this world might only seem like nothing more than an object of egoistical worship to the creator of this landmass but-

"..."

If one is able to see the statue through Duo Tian's eyes they would surely think otherwise of these structures.

Throughout the lands of the Yaksha Dynasty there are a total of 11 statues and each of them are currently emanating red demonic Qi.

This red demonic Qi is a form of energy that is unique to Bai Yecha and because it is related to Absolute Laws it is still able to move in a world of frozen time.

The specific purpose behind this flow of red demonic Qi isn't clear to Duo Tian but he can readily come up with several guesses to narrow down their exact purpose.

"..."

Shifting his eyes away from the statue Duo Tian turns his attention to a pagoda.

The structural form of a pagoda is considered a rarity in these lands making it stand out from all the other structures.

That's not to say that pagodas are extremely scarce in numbers however what makes them unique is the fact that they had a uniformed design.

One type possesses nine floors while the second type possesses only five floors.

There were plenty of five-floored pagodas but the ones that have nine floors numbered only eleven.

At the same time these nine-floored pagodas are all stationed near the vicinity of Bai Yecha's statue.

These are most likely where the guardian of each statue resides and these guardians, titled as the Yaksha Lords by the native residents of this world are probably the Yakshas that hold the highest level of authority in these lands.

With that in mind the pagodas that have only five floors must be the property of a lesser power, chances are they belong to a subordinate to one of the 11 Yaksha Lords.

"Finally broken free have you?"

Staring intently at the nine-floored pagoda that is a few hundred meters away from him Duo Tian mutters this question and in response-

"..."

The figure of a white horned Yaksha dressed in a white set of robes manifest in the air.

"..."

Facing Duo Tian an expression of uncertainty forms on the white horned Yaksha's face.

"Impressive for being able to break yourself out of imprisonment. You're the third person to do so."

"..."

One might think the white horned Yaksha's uncertainty is the result of him holding fear towards an opponent that he cannot hope to match but fear isn't the sole contributing factor to his uncertainty.

"I... Who were the first and second?"

"The first doesn't matter. But the second is Long Feng Zi."

"...Long Feng... Zi..."

Rolling this name off his tongue the white horned Yaksha's uncertainty only grows.

"Well does the name ring any bells?"

"...Maybe. I'm not very sure."

"What? There's little need to be so uncertain. From what I've seen everyone is a little lost in life. In your case... I'd say you're just a little more lost than average. How about introductions first?"

"I am... Huàn (幻)... Bái Huàn (白幻)...?"

Towards the hesitant manner in which the white horned Yaksha had given him their name Duo Tian finds this situation all the more amusing.

"Bai Huan? Are you certain that that's your name?"

"..."

Looking down at his hand the white horned Yaksha, Bai Huan shakes his head.

"...I'm not sure. But it seems to make the most sense to me."

"Hahaha. I didn't think the instability of Yecha's Absolute Law would actually cause something like this."

Having satisfied his curiosities Duo Tian turns his back towards Bai Huan and begins to leave.

"Do you not desire to destroy the statues?"

"I've already collected what's rightful mine from the denizens of this world. I don't see the point in doing unpaid work. You should go visit the person who woke up ahead of you. It should make for an... Interesting encounter."

"Long Feng Zi..."

As Duo Tian's presence vanishes completely Bai Huan mutters the name of Long Feng Zi with an odd gleam in his golden eyes.
