As the phantom body occupied by Yuzao Qian and Akatuosi lifts the blade that represents the First Heaven over its head the entirety of the world goes dark.
Within this world that is wrapped in a veil of darkness the five blades are the sole objects that stood out to the eyes of anyone that could possibly be looking into this confrontation.
(Hm?)
Having lost track of the phantom body the moment this veil of darkness had engulfed this world Ji Di Tian reacts with a frown of wariness.
In this world that is depraved of light not even his divine sense is able to detect the whereabouts of the phantom body so effort was clearly put into the construction of this black veil.
And despite being able to see the blade that is the manifestation of the First Heaven in the distance whether the phantom body was there or not is entirely based off a guess.
(Is there a reason to go this far in obscuring everything?)
Combat experience immediately told Ji Di Tian that there was more to Yuzao Qian and Akatuosi's efforts in obscuring the surroundings from his eyes.
[If you two think that this will be enough to let you avoid my fourth strike then the both of you are sadly mistaken.]
Although Ji Di Tian has visually lost sight of his target the first strike that designated the phantom body as a "world" has already locked onto it as the receiver of his Absolute Law's effects so even if he wasn't able to see his target all he needed to do was to continue his fourth attack.
[...]
Eyeing the five blades coldly Ji Di Tian continues to throw his fist out by an inch and reacting to this bit of movement from the former the phantom body lowers the blade.
If Ji Di Tian is able to see the simplistic nature of the phantom body's arm movement it would give him the false impression that the blade is falling at a predictable rate of speed but-
*...!!!!!!* by the time Ji Di Tian had pushed his fist out by another inch the sword Qi that originates from the First Heaven has already put an abrupt halt to his fourth attack!
[...]
*...! ...! ...! ...! ...!* facing the First Heaven's might Ji Di Tian narrows his eyes as his ears picked up a series of popping sounds going off in his right arm.
The source of this noise comes from his bones rubbing against the other and the longer this noise goes on for the more Ji Di Tian is reminded of the creaking sound that is made from unoiled pieces of machinery being forced to work under strenuous pressure.
(This first blade is meant to cut the body. If my physical body isn't at the level it currently is my arm would have been pulverized the moment they began to lower that blade. The next one...)
Just as Ji Di Tian thought of the next attack the First Heaven that was looming in the distance has begun to dissipate whereas the Second Heaven begins to move.
This blade that is the manifestation of the Second Heaven is the blade that is meant to cut the soul of those it comes into contact with.
[...]
Even before Ji Di Tian can brace himself for the next attack the phantom body has already lowered the Second Heaven and as the sword Qi that originates from it approaches a chilling sensation courses through the former's body.
This chilling sensation only intensifies the moment the Second Heaven's sword Qi lands and similar to the First Heaven's sword Qi had Ji Di Tian's soul not been as powerful as it is he would have perished instantly.
Without pausing the Third Heaven is lifted in the following instance as it lowers itself to send out a wave of sword Qi that results in a painful headache the moment it lands on Ji Di Tian.
Suffering from this headache Ji Di Tian's divine sense fluctuates in an unstable manner but even before he could get his current situation under control the Fourth Heaven is mercilessly lowered.
This blade is meant to cut the past of anything it comes across and as the sword Qi lands memories of old flashes through Ji Di Tian's head.
Adding onto the effects of the Third Heaven that has yet to dissipate illusions spawn in the company of these memories that were overflowing like a flood.
Within these memories Ji Di Tian sees the time in which he had first laid eyes upon the world that was devoid of almost everything aside from the natural laws that allowed it to exist.
It was also during that time that he had looked to the other nine individuals that were around him.
This is the memory of the ten Original Monarchs' birth.
