It would be appropriate to say that all the Exalted Celestials other than Long Feng Zi had been forced to let go of their valuables when Duo Tian had swept through the Primordial Continent.

Perhaps it was a stroke of luck or it might have been because the two had a keener sense for danger than most of their peers Yue Xiao Yao and Ming Ye Chen had gotten off without a beating from Duo Tian.

But the mere memory of being forced to watch as someone plunders their treasury is still a sight that had caused them to want to tear their hair out. With that said their dealings with Duo Tian is no different from Su Dao Zhong and Luo Xue.

As for Ling Tian Hao it isn't clear just what sort of deal he managed to reach with Duo Tian but he also got off lightly. Compared to the other Exalted Celestials' losses his treasury didn't take much of a hit.

Having grown tired of drifting through the depths of the Starry Seas Duo Tian addresses Ye Can directly.

Hearing this ominous phrase from Duo Tian a bad premonition wells up in Ye Can's heart.

"I'll give you five seconds to come out of hiding. Otherwise don't blame me for tearing this sea apart. One, two... And five."

Skipping three and four and jumping straight to the fifth count Duo Tian readily releases the power of his cultivation base causing the waters around him to part and form a vortex.

Knowing that continuing to hide would be utterly pointless Ye Can's figure manifests within the confines of the vortex.

*...!* without giving Ye Can the time to explain himself Duo Tian closes the distance between them and immediately delivers a crushing blow onto the former's chest.

Having been struck by this attack that didn't give him any time to react Ye Can is forced to take ten steps backwards before spewing out a mouthful of blood.

"I sometimes have to wonder. Are those that give off a know-it-all impression truly as smart as they seem?"

Understanding the hidden meaning behind these words Ye Can can only choose to grit his teeth and throw out a storage ring to Duo Tian.

Catching the storage ring and looking into it Duo Tian continues to direct a cold set of eyes towards Ye Can despite having found a great deal of treasures inside the ring.

"Do you truly think just this bit of material wealth is enough to appease my anger towards you for using my Absolute Law?"

Seeing the flash of killing intent in Duo Tian's eyes Ye Can looks back to his battle against Dao Mo and Hua Luo with regret. But had he not used that Absolute Law to restore his body back to its prime state he might not even be here with a chance at living.

[What is it that your highness wishes for?]

"Let's see how about you show me Mo Ye Zi's Dao Road?"

With much of his face hidden behind his gray hair it isn't clear just what sort of expression Ye Can had in reaction to Duo Tian's demand.

"Choose. Either the road or the graves below."

"Graves," the use of this word specifically meant that Duo Tian has already figured out what the bottom depth of the Starry Seas hold.

[*Sigh*]

Left with no real choice Ye Can waves his right hand with a sigh causing Mo Ye Zi's Dao Road to manifest beneath them.

Looking at the stone road with most of its body still hidden away in the boundaries of space a series of thoughts went through Duo Tian's head.

This Dao Road of Mo Ye Zi's is a key part of his four incarnations' goal of attaining the Eternal's realm of cultivation. In other words it is the key to giving birth to a new monarch.

Thinking things through Duo Tian presses his right hand downwards.

*Kakakakakakakaka...!!!* being on the receiving end of a crushing force of pressure the stone road trembles as cracks form and spreads rampantly.

*Boom!!!* in less than a single breath's worth of time a large portion of the stone road is pulverized by the pressure and waving his left hand Duo Tian collects the scattered pieces of the road together before igniting it in a bundle of Fox Fire.

Basked within the heat of Duo Tian's ashen Fox Fire the pieces of the stone road begins to melt and-

"Form."

Following the point of Duo Tian's finger pressure homes in on the body of Fox Fire forcing the melted pieces of the stone road to merge into a single body and in less than a minute the Fox Fire dissipates revealing a stone cube of abstract patterns.

Retrieving the stone cube and examining it carefully Duo Tian looks back on what remains of the stone road.

"If the longer a human lives for the less of a human they become, why chase after the Eternal?"

Turning his back on the stone road with the cube in hand Duo Tian starts to vanish while the words he had just spoken begins to carve themselves onto the road's remains.

Sensing Duo Tian's presence having vanished completely Ye Can inwardly heaves a heavy sigh before recalling the stone road. Even if he were to retrieve all the stolen portions of the stone road the damage done to it by Duo Tian will keep it in an irreparable state.
