Clicking his tongue Ye Gui Feng turns his body in the direction of the courtyard and with one step he appears in front of Xiao Lian to place his hand over her forehead.

Though it might be a futile show of resistance Ye Gui Feng raises his right hand as the power of wills and intents emanate from his body but just as he is about to enact a Dao Manifestation of a Will-

With a condescending tone a child's voice speaks with a hint of playfulness and the moment this person's words is transmitted into the ears of those who are present the two celestial bodies cease their movements almost as if they had been frozen in time.

As his wound heals fully Ji Di Tian spreads his divine sense to look for the speaker of those words but to his surprise he wasn't able to detect their whereabouts.

Standing a few hundred meters away from the dark rift, directly in front of Ji Di Tian's field of vision is a young boy dressed in a regal set of dark robes with radiant purple eyes.

Despite Duo Tian standing right in front of him Ji Di Tian is still unable to detect his presence almost as if his very existence is an illusion.

[Do you intend to protect them?]

"I do have to keep my end of the bargain with the old duke."

Answering the question with a nonchalant tone Duo Tian gives one the impression that he wasn't any weaker than Ji Di Tian despite his childish appearance.

"Besides do you seriously believe I'd allow you monarchs to get away with the destruction of my kingdom?"

[Even if Tian Huang is your father I will not hold back.]

"That's strange I don't recall ever acknowledging that annoying person as my father."

Choosing to meet Ji Di Tian's threat with an uncaring smirk tension brews in the air between the two.

Judging by Ji Di Tian's tone it's clear that he didn't think much of Duo Tian.

But since the latter was bold enough to stand in front of him it's obvious that their strength should be comparable to a monarch.
