Compared to Yi and Bai Yuechu Ye Gui Feng who didn't have much to occupy his thoughts with during this period had spent his time seemingly in leisure.

But regardless of how peaceful the surface may seem there is inevitably a small bit of awkward tension in the air whenever Ye Gui Feng and Die Fei would make eye contact.

[*Sigh*]

Thinking of this matter Ye Gui Feng sighs as he stood outside of the courtyard's doors.

If one strains their ears under the silence of the night they can hear a bit of the conversation that is taking place in the bedrooms where the girls have gathered.

[...]

"You shall have all the answers at the end of this," looking up at the dark skies Ye Gui Feng thought back to the words Hua Luo had said to him during that battle and sensing Yi's presence drawing closer and closer to his location he knew that the time has come for him to receive some answers.

Waiting for the other party to arrive Ye Gui Feng thought about what questions he wanted to ask.

But he quickly realized just how complicated it would be to order them so he can only hope that Yi would know where to start.

The waiting period didn't last long as a puff of light winds brushes by his face and there in front of him stands Yi and Bai Yuechu.

[Shall we begin then?]

With a nod Ye Gui Feng turns around and opens the doors of the courtyard.

The table had been set beforehand with bottles of wine and snacks that went well with the chilled beverage.

With Ye Gui Feng taking the seat closest to the living room Yi takes the one that is closer to the doors while Bai Yuechu sits on the side.

[...Hm?]

Detecting a bit of disturbance in the air Yi waves his hand casting a barrier over the courtyard that bloats out the outside world's noise while keeping their voices contained within the perimeters of the table.

Having sensed the same disturbance felt by Yi Ye Gui Feng didn't mind the former's arrangements.

[Two individuals on the Primordial Continent managed to move amidst all this?]

[One of them is Long Feng Zi. As for the other one I'm not sure.]

[The only person that Long Feng Zi would get into a fight with under the circumstances... Can only be a Yaksha.]

[Perhaps so. But that is hardly something for us to be concerned about. Well?]

Throwing out a 19 x 19 Go board with two cases of stone Yi makes an inviting gesture with his right hand.

[Do I have a choice?]

[Not really. Having slept for this long I'm actually itching to play a game.]

Taking the case closer to him Ye Gui Feng opens it and immediately a frown appears on his face.

[Isn't the weaker player supposed to take the black stones?]

[I haven't played in forever so our skill levels should be the same.]

Not taking Yi's word for it Ye Gui Feng slides the case of white stones to the former and retrieves the case of black stones.

Shrugging his shoulders Yi accepts this arrangement and without further ado Ye Gui Feng takes one stone and places it down at random.

[So what do you want to know?]

Setting a white stone down besides the black stone Yi asks this question while Bai Yuechu pours wine into three separate cups.

[I was hoping that you'd know where to begin.]

[I'm afraid I'm just as lost on where to even start.]

[...What is my relationship to you and Hua Luo?]

[That question is one that will be answered when you take over for Jiu Dao.]

[And you can't give me the answer to it right now?]

[I would but it wouldn't make as much sense.]

While Yi thought about where to place his next stone Ye Gui Feng thought about his next question while taking a light sip of the wine.

[I feel like there's a blank in my memories. Tell me why.]

[Questions regarding health issues should be directed at a licensed physician.]

[...]

Setting a stone down while under Ye Gui Feng's unpleasant gaze towards his response Yi laughs lightly.

[I'll give you half an answer. The blank in your memories were never yours to begin with. I had merely taken what's rightfully mine back from you.]

[Is this also something that will make more sense when I take over for Jiu Dao?]

[Indeed.]

Realizing that Yi may not be very cooperative in answering his questions Ye Gui Feng taps a stone against the table while pondering.

[...Fourth Hell.]

Muttering the name of this place Ye Gui Feng places the stone down.

[What is the true purpose of the Four Great Hells?]

[...]

Rather surprised to hear Ye Gui Feng choosing to ask about the Four Great Hells Yi widens his eyes as his hand reaches for his cup.

[The Four Great Hells' purpose has always been to fight off foreign invaders regardless of their origins being from this world or from the world outside.]
