[Give me the arm.]
[...?]
To the three monarchs this battle may have just been the beginning but looking to Hua Luo Ye Gui Feng felt the exact opposite.
The tranquility contained in his eyes along with the attitude he is using to face this situation made it seem as if everything is nearing its end.
[This battle is indeed approaching its end.]
As he is saying these words the dimensional rift that Cang Xue had left to its own devices gave off an odd noise that is mostly ignored by the monarchs whereas Hua Luo raises a smile of confidence upon picking it up.
[All that is left to do is to sweep the stage clean of the supporting cast so that the main actors can begin their performance.]
Receiving Ji Di Tian's arm from Ye Gui Feng Hua Luo's eyes emanate with a pale glow as he holds the arm with his left hand while performing a single-handed incantation gesture with his right.
[* ***...]
Chanting a string of complex curses the glow emanating from his eyes became denser in volume and looking forward a thread dyed in the colors of blood manifests in his field of vision.
Following the flow of this thread Hua Luo sees it dividing itself into numerous strands that connected the bodies of Ji Di Tian's Dao shadows together.
Calling each of these Dao shadows a clone of Ji Di Tian isn't wrong, but should the main body be destroyed at any given instance one of these supposed clones will automatically assume that role.
(There's no telling if he's still hiding more shadows in a place that we can't reach but...)
The chances of Ji Di Tian hiding more Dao shadows in places unknown is extremely high for it provides him with a step to fall back on.
At first this may seem like a negative factor to take into consideration but on the contrary it also made it so that Ji Di Tian is more likely to be here in the present instance as his true self.
[...]
As the powers of life, death, and reincarnation seethes out of Hua Luo's right hand complex runes appear and surrounds the arm of Ji Di Tian's Dao shadow.
One by one these runes written in a calligraphic style stuck themselves onto Ji Di Tian's arm forming an odd connection between it and Hua Luo.
(How should I kill him then?)
(You don't. At most you can hope to fight him on equal footing but you should never think to yourself that you will be able to acquire the strength to overpower him. Before you can stand on the same level as him you can only hope to wound him.)
Recalling the details of a conversation he had with Li Jiu Tian in the past Hua Luo sweeps his eyes across the field of Dao shadows.
(.........Then tell me how I'm able to wound him.)
At the time Hua Luo was still very much reluctant to accept Li Jiu Tian's words but-
(I don't have the strength to kill off all the Dao shadows in a single strike. Even if I join forces with those three we still won't have the strength to do so. And if I were to force him into fusing with all the shadows to assume his full strength he would easily overpower me.)
Having had a few exchanges with Ji Di Tian he is forced to accept that he is powerless in front of his mortal enemy so he can only choose to resort to the method Li Jiu Tian had spoken to him about.
