Returning to his current residence Yi maintains a smile of satisfaction on his face.

Having managed to force Tang Jiu Ke to think that he is involved in a scheme of Xia Huang Hai's to test the former's loyalty Yi felt rather confident that the former won't even think to run their mouth off towards the latter for confirmations due to their own fears of making themselves a target of suspicion.

(I suppose I should get serious about making the necessary changes to that curse now. Hm?)

Raising his hand Yi parts his lips to find a single flake of snow landing onto his palm.

"...?"

Other than a red sky the lands of the Four Great Hells have never once snowed or rained in accordance to Yi's memories that pertains to the records of this land.

In fact the very concept of seasonal weather changes should be a phenomenon that is completely nonexistent in this realm and yet-

(...Something's wrong.)

Looking up at the skies more snow begins to fall causing a frown to form on Yi's face.

"..."

Standing in the backyard of Li Wen's residence Ye Gui Feng is greeted to the same sight of falling snow and similarly to Yi a frown is his first reaction to this abrupt change.

"Has snow ever fallen upon this land in the past?"

[As far as I'm aware of this is the first time it's ever happened...]

"..."

Hearing this to be the case from Li Wen Ye Gui Feng suddenly felt like the act of reopening the Four Great Hells' central domain may not be the best idea for they could end up releasing something unpleasant back into the world.

(Physically these flakes may look like snow but...)

Holding a bundle of the supposed snow in his hand Yi couldn't feel a hint of coldness from them as he twists his wrist and allows them to drop.

(Ming Ye Chuan...)

Prior to coming into the Four Great Hells the possibilities that Ming Ye Chuan might be in the central domain has definitely crossed Yi's mind but having been unable to sense a single trace of power that would indicate the presence of an Original Monarch this notion had gradually vanished from his head.

But now-

(Is he really in the central domain?)

Turning his body towards the direction where the gates of the central domain should be in Yi narrows his eyes.

This abrupt change in the weather of the Four Great Hells could very well be used as a form of confirmation to Ming Ye Chuan's presence here because as far as Yi is aware of only the creator of this realm can possess the authority to invoke such a change when the very concept of weather should have been nonexistent.

(What exactly is he up to?)

Despite having met Ming Ye Chuan under peaceful circumstances in the distant past Yi cannot say for certain if their relationship is good or bad.

But if Yi had to describe their relationship in a simplified manner then he can only say they are more akin to business partners than actual friends that can be relied upon.

(This snow doesn't interfere with the techniques of the Hell River Sect. If anything they actually help to amplify it...)

Rotating several techniques that are unique to the Hell River Sect Yi is even more uncertain of Ming Ye Chuan's intentions if he is truly the one who had invoked this change.

And although the changes to this realm has brought him benefits Yi really didn't know how he should feel at this time without knowing what Ming Ye Chuan's intentions are behind this generous bit of aid.

(How are you so certain that he won't backstab you?)

"*Sigh*"

Recalling the conversation that he had with Ye Gui Feng and thinking back to Long Feng Zi's situation Yi can only heave a powerless sigh.

(The passage of time changes people... At this point I cannot say for certain if he is still the same Ming Ye Chuan that I had known.)

In accordance to his memories Yi's impression of Ming Ye Chuan as a person is someone who doesn't like to be disturbed. Amongst all the Original Monarchs their attitude towards the world and the lifeforms living in it can only be described as someone who has gotten bored of a toy that they had overplayed with so it is difficult to say if they actually cared enough to interact with it further.

(He's not someone that would do something without personal benefits so he must have an objective in mind by doing whatever it is that he is doing right now. If I was a monarch who has fallen from his prime due to the passage of time what would be my number one priority upon awakening? Is it figuring out the current state of the world or... No, figuring out the world's present state wouldn't matter much and I can't see him caring enough about it to even make it a priority. A sense of personal safety should be my greatest concern if I were ever in his current situation. And to achieve that sense of safety I would... Probably attempt to regain my lost strength as soon as possible using any means necessary. In that case could he be planning to have us open the central domain so that he may devour whatever comes into it? For an Original Monarch right now Half-Monarchs are considered the greatest form of supplement towards the recovery of their former powers. Whether everything in this realm is included on his plate... I can't trust him to have any restraint under his current circumstances hence-)

Should devouring everything within the Four Great Hells with the inclusion of Yi and Ye Gui Feng truly be Ming Ye Chuan's intentions then-

(I can only move in accordance to the worse possibilities. But if the situation really is like this then is it still worth opening the central domain? Or would it be best to avoid it completely?)
