Having split the air apart in its rending slash the folded blade of spirit energy comes to a complete stop leaving an eerie sense of silence to loom in the air.
[He managed to cut it?]

Compared to Yi who is astonished by what Ye Gui Feng had done Hua Luo looks to the process in which the black flames are being broken down in a scrutinizing manner.
(There should be an Absolute Law of some kind involved with this but there's also something else mixed into it apart from spirit energy.)
Uncertainties well up in Hua Luo's head as he has a difficult time comprehending the factors that are involved with the azure colored spirit energy's ability to cause a structural breakdown of Ji Di Tian's flames.
(Had it been before we realized Ji Di Tian had come here with his true self this could be considered an opportunity but now-)
[I think... It's better to be on the offensive in this.]
As if he had read Hua Luo's stance on the present situation ahead of time Yi voices his opinion on the matter upfront.
[So you agree with his actions then?]
Looking to Yi Hua Luo puts on a somewhat pessimistic look.
[Without risks there can't be gains. Isn't that what you taught me in the past? And... If we don't choose to fight him head-on would we have the courage to do so in the future?]
[...]
Recalling how the Asura Monarch had said the same thing a single thought appears in Hua Luo's head.
(Was choosing to be on the defensive an instinctive decision made from my own fears towards Di Tian?)
Gradually a sense of clarity appears in Hua Luo's eyes. If being on the defensive had truly been an instinctive decision made from fear then-
(I must really be going senile...)
A self-depreciative smile appears on Hua Luo's face.
(This human...)
Seeing the way in which his flames are being broken down by the expanding spirit energy Ji Di Tian looks to the sight with a light of disbelief in his eyes as he pauses in his flute performance.
Much like the other monarchs Ji Di Tian is no exception to being in a weakened state.
But being one of the only two Absolute Monarchs in existence meant that despite him being in a weakened state his strength is still well above his peers.
From his viewpoint the only one who can truly match him in a direct confrontation without relying on cheap tricks is Ji Tian Huang who is another Absolute Monarch.
Since their strength during their prime were equal it goes without saying that in their ongoing competition against each other the one to recover their original strength the fastest shall hold an indefinite advantage.
(Have I underestimated them? Or is this...)
Anger burns in the eyes of Ji Di Tian for he refuses to accept the fact that a human has managed to destroy one of his most powerful offensive abilities.
Since the very beginning and even now Ji Di Tian hadn't paid too much heed to the threat Duo Tian is able to bring by making an appearance because he is confident in his abilities to suppress them.
That being said the way in which Yi and Hua Luo were doing everything they can to drag out this fight can only be seen as distasteful in Ji Di Tian's eyes; so despite the anger that was brought about by Ye Gui Feng's feat he was also feeling a complicated sense of satisfaction in seeing someone with a backbone amongst their group.
[...]
Taking advantage of this opportunity in which Ji Di Tian is distracted by his own thoughts-
[Very good.]
As the black flames surrounding him dissipates the Asura Monarch quickly performs a single-handed incantation gesture and summons a sea of lightning.
*Crackle!!!* being swift in his attacks by not wasting a single second the sea of lightning closes in on the sea of dark flames and-
*KAKAKAKAKA!!!* with the latter being structurally unstable from the expanding spirit energy the myriad bolts of lightning easily divides the flaming seas apart at its center!
In the span of a split second following this the Asura Monarch locks in on the location of Ji Di Tian's true body through his divine sense.
Being efficient in his follow-up attack the Asura Monarch swings the lightning sea in Ji Di Tian's general direction!
*Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!* and enforcing his will over the lightning sea amidst this strike the body of electric energy converges together and takes on the form of a scythe's blade.
[Just as I had thought.]
Regaining his awareness towards the present situation Ji Di Tian immediately turns his head in the direction of the Asura Monarch's attack as he voluntarily reveals his body out in the opening.
*CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!! CRACKLE!!!* receiving the attack with his bare hand Ji Di Tian holds his ground without moving an inch away from where he stood!
[If I allow these things to continue their evolution they will inevitably become a threat to our existence.]
Having seen what Ye Gui Feng had done reinforces the original thoughts that Ji Di Tian had about the myriad lifeforms.
[Should they be allowed to continue their growth there won't be a future left for us in this world.]
*Kakakakaka!!!* applying strength to his grip Ji Di Tian crushes the blade of electric energy before turning his murderous gaze in the direction of the floating courtyard.
[Shura do you still intend to ally yourself with these things and stand in my way after witnessing this? If there is one there will surely be another. Even if you manage to revive your legion they will also choose to turn their backs on you when you least expect it. Having taken part in their creation and having witnessed how hideous the human hearts are at times you can't possibly deny the possibilities of this.]
