Recalling the words said by Ji Di Tian as a means to provoke him the shine in Chong Tianzi's eyes became more evident causing his rein over the dimensional rift to show a sign of loosening.

Though she wasn't the strongest amongst her peers she was within the top five when it comes to power and influence.

If Cang Xue had to describe her first impression of Ji Di Tian during this encounter, then she would have to say this person gave off a familiar air of unfathomability that reminded her of the strongest individual in her homeland.

That person's unique presence would cause those beneath them to suffocate because regardless of how wide an opening they might reveal to others their very existence would make their enemies hesitant on trying to challenge their authority.

(All my efforts had instantly been reduced to nothing as I had the tables flipped against me right at the moment in which victory had seemed all but guaranteed.)

As a shadow of that individual's back flashes in Cang Xue's mind her heart skips a beat from fear.

Having encountered Ji Di Tian in the flesh Cang Xue felt as if she finally has a good grasp over the scope of this world's strength.

If she had to compare this world to her homeland then the former is certainly stronger in power.

Clearing his head and dismissing these thoughts Chong Tianzi begins to relinquish his control over the dimensional rift to Cang Xue at a gradual rate and upon freeing himself of this burden he moves forward to appear a few hundred meters away from the myriad colored sea of lightning.

Silently rotating his cultivation base and directing the power of his Absolute Law towards his right hand Chong Tianzi keeps his attention focused upon the center of the lightning sea.
