A smile of interest appears on Hua Luo's face.

The idea of treating the Dao Road of the original Half-Monarch as a sort of immortal treasure and attempting to enhance it using the Moments sounded preposterous to the ears but should the person doing it be a Half-Monarch-

Shaking his head Hua Luo raises a light sigh. The concept behind this idea did intrigue him but he didn't see any chances for it to bear fruit.

The only reason Dao Mo and the Moments are qualified to do this is because they are all considered partial owners of the stone road as they are a fragment of the original Half-Monarch.

If it was any other person this idea couldn't even be considered doable.

Under the attentive eyes of both Ye Gui Feng and Hua Luo the body of the stone road is gradually dyed in the colors of pitch darkness and in the same instance Dao Mo takes a single step forward to appear upon it.

*...!!!!!!!* the moment Dao Mo's feet lands upon the stone road it was almost as if a mountain was thrown upon all that rests beneath it causing both Ye Gui Feng and Hua Luo to feel a heavy force of weight crushing down on their shoulders.

Even while all of this is happening the effects of Dao Mo's Absolute Law is still active as it continues to transform the remaining Moments into ink that shall be used to cover the stone road.

Narrowing his eyes Ye Gui Feng sees a scalp numbing amount of wills and intents latching themselves onto the stone road's body like parasites.

All this stems from the Moments that have been transformed into ink and are using their bodies to refine the stone road while wiping away the branding that was left by the original Half-Monarch.

Turning his attention to a specific part of the stone road Ye Gui Feng constrict his eyes tightly and it is within the road's body that he sees a complex seal.

This seal seems to be the source of the stone road's archaic air and with each refinement done on its body the stronger this archaic air would become.

Sensitive to wills and intents Ye Gui Feng can also tell that there is a conscience inside of this seal that he assumes to be the branding left by the original Half-Monarch.

[A spirit?]

[Not too surprising for it to develop a conscience that is similar to a weapon spirit after all this time.]

Despite not being as well versed in the art of wills and intents Hua Luo couldn't possibly miss this with his experienced eyes.

Although the stone road's spirit had made it seem like it isn't able to offer resistance against Dao Mo and the Moments' intentions-

*...!!!!!* that was far from the truth as the stone road's radiance intensifies in the next instance.

The intensity of this radiance cuts through the ink like darkness that covered the stone road's body and with its increasing intensity some of the ink are forced to back away.

As soon as this happens the seal inside of the stone road begins to rotate while releasing a powerful force of suction that draws the ink back.

If one looks to the seal closely they can see that there is a tiny vortex pressed onto the center of its body and similar to the maws of a starved beast the vortex viciously devours the ink that are covering the stone road's body.

Should one strains their ears at this time they may be able to pick up the painful shrieks of the Moments whose souls are being swallowed by the vortex and with each soul devoured the brighter the stone road's radiance became.

As this is happening Ye Gui Feng sees the abundance wills and intents that are covering the stone road's body dropping at an astonishing rate.

[This wouldn't be a Half-Monarch's Dao Road if it isn't able to stand up for itself. But even if it didn't... I doubt he would just stand by and watch.]

Narrowing his eyes Hua Luo looks to the far distance.

With the ink made up of the Moments' bodies dropping in volume a gleam of cold radiance flashes from Dao Mo's eyes as he forcefully places his foot down on the next step and-

*...!!!!!!!!!!!!* sensing the fluctuation of a genuine Half-Monarch's cultivation base in fierce rotation a bead of cold sweat rolls down the side of Ye Gui Feng's head.

At this point Ye Gui Feng had thought to himself that he wouldn't be taken by surprise in front of a superior being's pressure.

But getting a feel for Dao Mo's cultivation base he can say for certain that both the Yaksha Monarch and the Asura Monarch had held back in using their strength.
