*Boom!!!* blasting a hole through the ashen colored sea of flames Ji Di Tian emerges from within and looks to Duo Tian with a venomous glare.
[He managed to wound him?]
Seeing the hideous burns on Ji Di Tian's body Chong Tianzi looks on with shock.
(This is odd...)
Observing Duo Tian closely Cang Xue can sense an air of familiarity emanating from the former that reminded her of her homeland.
However, the thought of Duo Tian being someone who had originated from the same world as her didn't even cross her mind for it shouldn't be possible.
But-
(Other than me is there... Possibly someone else from my homeland here in this world?)
If that were to be the case then this person should have strength comparable to a monarch. However why would this person leave a trace of their presence on Duo Tian?
"Survived did you?"
Having expected Ji Di Tian's survival Duo Tian continues his relentless assault as he approaches the former in a single step but just as he is about to release a punch-
[...]
Sweeping his right hand outwards Ji Di Tian sends a blast of sword Qi towards Duo Tian thinking that the latter would choose to avoid it however-
"Hmph."
*Kakaka...!!!* with a cold snort Duo Tian readily smashes his fist against the blast of sword Qi and though the sword Qi had put up a bit of resistance it didn't last for more than a second before it is shatters like a fragile piece of glassware!
*...!!!* not expecting the former to simply shatter his attack a heavy force of impact is felt by Ji Di Tian in the next instance as his chest caves inwards forcing him to take ten steps back!
[How?]
Blood leaks from the corner of Ji Di Tian's lips as he looks to Duo Tian with a light of disbelief.
Although he is a bit fatigued from having to deal with the three monarchs and Hua Luo Ji Di Tian didn't think that would hinder him much in suppressing Duo Tian.
But having experienced the latter's strength he is forced to reevaluate the situation.
(A casual strike is already enough to wound me. This means he has already tempered his flesh with the power of Absolute Laws. As for his actual cultivation base...)
Considering how Duo Tian's unique Fox Fire has managed to burn him Ji Di Tian figures that the former is indeed capable of directly manipulating the power of Absolute Laws to their whim.
What he didn't know is how many Absolute Laws Duo Tian has under his belt along with how much tempering his body has already undergone.
(This shouldn't be possible...)
From what Ji Di Tian knew of Duo Tian the latter shouldn't be in possession of such strength, especially when-
"What? Surprised? How does it feel to be looked down upon?"
Looking to Ji Di Tian with an expression of mockery Duo Tian directs his right hand towards the sea of flames beneath his feet.
As he closes his hand he grabs the entirety of the sea summoned by Ji Di Tian and hurls it towards the ashen colored Fox Fire in the manner of tossing a tree branch into a bonfire.
Effortlessly the ashen colored Fox Fire swallows the sea of flames that was tossed into its maws causing its size to expand.
"Till this day you've never made any moves against my other incarnations. In fact you let roam as they pleased. Was it because you didn't want to have to deal with Ji Tian Huang when you were still in the midst of making preparations? Or... Was it because you simply couldn't afford to provoke them?"
The hidden ridicule in Duo Tian's words are quite clear to Ji Di Tian.
[You think I'm afraid of your incarnations?]
"But isn't that exactly what makes you unwilling to provoke them?"
Waving his hand Duo Tian causes two masks to manifest by his side.
The patterns that are drawn on these masks resembles the face of a fox and despite their mundane appearance a discerning pair of eyes would surely notice a subtle hint of oddities about them.
"Yùzǎo Qián (玉藻前) inherited much of the soul granting him unparalleled strength when it comes to divine sense."
As Duo Tian said these words the figure of a golden phantom grows from the first mask.
This phantom wore what seems to be a decorative set of robes making it difficult to distinguish their gender.
Adding onto the traces of immortal Qi that surrounds it this phantom gave off a favorable air of tranquility.
"Ākǎtuōsī (阿卡托斯) inherited the original body granting him unparalleled physical strength making his every strike comparable to an Absolute Law."
Similarly a red phantom grows from the second mask.
Unlike the first phantom that gave off a sense of tranquility the air of this phantom is filled with an immense thirst for blood causing one to think of a demonic god.
(A clone of some kind?)
Seeing the two phantom bodies that were materialized by Duo Tian Ji Di Tian is reminded of his Dao shadows but-
(No, they aren't the same as my Dao shadows.)
Though in some aspects the two phantoms of Duo Tian are similar to his Dao shadows Ji Di Tian can tell that they weren't formed using the essences of Absolute Laws as their core.
And having observed the other two incarnations of Duo Tian in the past Ji Di Tian can readily recognize the air of familiarity that emanated from the two phantoms to be the same.
[...]
A strange idea appears in Ji Di Tian's head in the next instance and perhaps having seen through the former's realization Duo Tian smiles in a playful manner.
