*Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!* the thunderous sound of cannons being fired off in rapid succession deafens the ears and under the constant barrage of cannon fire Chong Tianzi finds himself incapable of approaching the ancient warship!

It goes without saying that ordinary cannons are unable to push a monarch back but every piece of weaponry installed on this ancient warship is far from ordinary.

Each of them is powered by the energy unique to Absolute Laws making them rather effective in stalling Chong Tianzi's advancement.

[Tch...!]

Finding himself incapable of taking a single step forward under the siege of cannon fire Chong Tianzi felt more hatred towards the creator of the Nether Realm Warship than Hua Luo.

(That bastard clearly made the wrong choice to entrust the management of his system to mortals all those years ago! If he hadn't how the hell would this mortal have obtained one of his warships?)

The person who had created this warship is none other than an Original Monarch who belongs to the same faction as Chong Tianzi, the Monarch of the Yellow Springs Ming Ye Chuan who is the incarnation of heaven and earth's concept of reincarnation.

In the distant past Ming Ye Chuan had selected nine practitioners of great strength to act as his hands to administer his system of reincarnation.

Eventually these nine practitioners under the guidance of Ming Ye Chuan created the Hell River Sect to manage the ever-increasing volume of souls that are due for reincarnation.

[You must have been a traitor of the Hell River Sect.]

Under ordinary circumstances a Nether Realm Warship would be kept in one of the Hell River Sect's branches and without an invite from one of the sect's prime elders it would be impossible for a person to find the branch's whereabouts. This means to say Hua Luo was involved with the sect's operations as one of its disciples; that would be the only way for him to have gotten the opportunity to steal one of these warships.

[Technically the traitor wasn't me but you're not wrong to say that I was involved with the Hell River Sect.]

Seeing as how Chong Tianzi is preoccupied by the barrage of cannon fire Hua Luo turns his attention to the Asura Monarch.

Clenching his left hand slightly a blood red radiance goes off and the sword forged from Ye Gui Feng's personal history appears in Hua Luo's grip.

With a single thought a black spear appears before the Asura Monarch and gripping it in his hands he approaches Hua Luo with streams of black and white lightning accompanying his charge!

*Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang!* in the blink of an eye the two closes in on the other and with speed that leaves afterimages behind they exchanged more than a hundred hits in the span of a single second!

*Chiiii!!!* pressing their weapons against the other Hua Luo finally gets the chance to look upon the dark spear up close.

(It's faint but it's definitely there.)

Without showing a change in his expression a thought appears in Hua Luo's mind as he swings the sword and pushes the Asura Monarch back.

Keeping a bit of distance Hua Luo tightens the grip of his right hand causing an angled dark branch to appear in his grasp.

(*Sigh* this as well... Looks like all the treasures used in the past are in desperate need of repairs.)

Hanging on the tip of this branch is a lantern with its wooden frame damaged so badly that it is barely able to hold itself together and contained within its body is a pale blue flame that is giving off an ominous glow.

[Law of the Yellow Springs.]

Raising the damaged lantern the power of life, death, and reincarnation along with the energy unique to Absolute Laws causes the space around Hua Luo's right hand to distort.

[Ming Ye Chuan's laws is it?]

Seeing as how Hua Luo is able to perform one of Ming Ye Chuan's Absolute Laws the Asura Monarch puts on an expression of surprise but considering how Ming Ye Chuan's right hand has already started to assimilate with Hua Luo it isn't odd to see that he is granted with the rights to use their Absolute Law.

As the pale blue flame contained in the lantern gives off a negative temperature of heat purple mist, the same sort emanating from the Nether Realm Warship is emitted by the flame and beneath Hua Luo's feet a river of ghostly bodies begins to form.

This river's vastness made it seem as if it could span for an infinite amount of distance and if one pays close attention to the ghosts dwelling inside of the river they would see that all of them had their eyes glued to the pale blue flame that is held in Hua Luo's lantern as if that flame is the most attractive object to enter their eyes.
