With the hands summoned by Ji Di Tian in position Chong Tianzi points to the cubic prison with his index finger.
In response to Chong Tianzi's gesture the skeletal frame formed by the components that made up his raiment gives off a golden shine.
As soon as this hue of gold appears on the raiment's components the hands summoned by Ji Di Tian begins to exert a strange force of power.
This power takes on the form of six calligraphic characters that stuck themselves onto the walls of the cubic prison as if to add a layer of black paint onto its body.
It shouldn't be too difficult to tell that these calligraphic characters together have formed some sort of magic array so long as one has an intermediate level of understanding towards this subject.
But if one were to compare this magic array to what is considered the modern norm they would surely raise several questions concerning its design.
Modern magic arrays will generally use what seems to be an infinite number of runes and ancient characters in conjunction to create a specific effect depending on one's needs, but this magic array deployed by Ji Di Tian is made up of only six calligraphic characters.
The simplicity of this magic array's design made it seem unreliable when it went against modern understandings. However, since it had been deployed by an Original Monarch would anyone dare to question its reliability?
[...]
[...]
With this magic array deployed both the Asura Monarch and Hua Luo felt an odd sense of discomfort.
When this prison had trapped them they already felt their connection to the outside world cut off but now they felt as if they might suffocate should they continue to stay inside of this world.
For Hua Luo this was especially so as the death Qi that exudes from his soul felt more difficult to suppress.
(A magic array?)
Although he couldn't physically see pass the confines of this prison Hua Luo can still get a vague feel for what might be happening.
(One, two, three... I sense six different sources supporting this magic array's structure. It probably came from an era that was before my own. Any sort of environmental energy that could normally be borrowed have all ceased to exist inside of it.)
As far as Hua Luo's knowledge are concerned there are indeed several magic arrays capable of cutting off the environmental energy that is normally present but the few that are capable of doing so with only six runes are nonexistent.
Besides this feature this magic array possesses another function and this function should be its main ability with the first being but a byproduct.
(And this skeletal frame...)
Keeping his eyes closed Hua Luo finally realized what Ji Di Tian and Chong Tianzi are planning to do.
The main feature of this magic array is its ability to reinforce the cubic prison and with that Ji Di Tian intends to compress the entirety of the explosion that will be caused by the detonation of Chong Tianzi's raiment inside.
Considering how the Deva's Battle Raiment is Chong Tianzi's strongest Absolute Law and can be treated as his greatest source of confidence when engaging enemies in battle the destruction of it is by no means a cheap price to pay for upon the raiment's destruction only Chong Tianzi would know how long it would take for him to repair it.
(Looks like he wasn't kidding when he said that I can die with a sense of glory.)
It goes without saying that not all Absolute Laws are equal but if one had to rank the Deva's Battle Raiment it can only belong to the highest category possible.
When detonating any sort of treasure or magic technique the energy of the blast will inevitably spread outwards but when this energy is compressed in an area as tight as the cubic prison the destructiveness of the blast that is already capable of shattering an entire region of the starry heavens can only be imagined.
[*** **.]
Tapping the air lightly with his finger Chong Tianzi mutters an unclear command.
If possible he truly didn't want to have to destroy his raiment to take out Hua Luo and the Asura Monarch for its destruction involves the unveiling of one of his greatest secrets.
But whether or not he reveals this secret is of little importance now when he has already made preparations to deal with the consequences ahead of time.
*Kakakaka!* the moment Chong Tianzi's command is muttered cracks appear on the skeletal frame and from these cracks blood colored mist spews outwards.
Within the blink of an eye the blood colored mist fills the entirety of the cubic world covering it with the pungent scent of iron.
[...?]
A look of surprise appears on the Asura Monarch's face but rather quickly his expression becomes that of deep contemplation.
Within this mist of blood is a powerful force of life energy, a testament to how powerful its origins are.
(Looks like I was right in thinking that this raiment is meant to possess a life of its own. But...)
From where did Chong Tianzi acquire this blood source from? As an Original Monarch he should be extremely picky when it comes down to selecting something as important as this to be a part of his Absolute Law.
(He couldn't possibly have obtained this from those he considered inferior...)
[...]
Much like the Asura Monarch numerous thoughts went through Ji Di Tian's head at the sight of this mist.
(Since he decided to reveal this blood mist he must be confident in his abilities to defend himself should I try to question him about it.)
[*******.]
Muttering another command Chong Tianzi waves his right hand sending the world inside of the cubic prison into a boil.
And immediately-
[** ****!]
The final command follows causing the golden radiance that exudes from the skeletal frame to instantaneously reach its peak!
In the same instance a terrifying wave of danger is felt by Hua Luo and the Asura Monarch and pressured by this sense of danger they quickly begin the execution of their final defensive measures!
