Moving further into the residence Ye Gui Feng has his copy head to the door located at the furthest end of the hall.

Compared to all the other rooms this one is the only one that is locked with a magic array hinting at its importance.

Since the magic array that is meant to protect the entire sect had been unable to detect his copy Ye Gui Feng felt confident enough to have it close in on the door and effortlessly it manages to slip into the room.

Sitting in the center of a sparsely decorated room is a man who looks to be in his thirties and judging by the dust that is layered on top of his black robes it seems like he hasn't moved from his current position for a very long time.

Considering how there are also ghosts roaming about in this room this man must have gotten used to their presence a long time ago for him to not be disturbed by their presence during his mediation.

Circling around the man Ye Gui Feng observes him with keen eyes.

From what he had heard from the two servants this man who is the fourth elder of the Spirit Crane Sect had been involved in an incident of some kind a year back.

But no matter how Ye Gui Feng looked at it the person himself had no traces of an existing wound on his body.

(Seems like he's on the verge of a breakthrough. Maybe that's why he decided to not exit his seclusion for so long.)

A sinister smile appears on Ye Gui Feng's face as he has his copy approach the fourth elder and-

*...!* upon the copy's invasion of the fourth elder's body the man's calm expression immediately changes into that of discomfort.

Within the fourth elder's sea of conscience Ye Gui Feng's copy manifests and is immediately greeted by an attack created from the former's divine sense that took on the shape of a spear.

Snorting in disdain and raising his hand towards the spear Ye Gui Feng crushes it with a firm squeeze.

Seeing the ease in which his attack had been crushed the fourth elder's spiritual body immediately begins to retreat.

[Do you see the value in talking to someone who is about to die?]

Closing the distance in a single step Ye Gui Feng's copy arrives in front of the fourth elder's spiritual body and grabs him by the neck but just as he is about to tighten his grip-

Recalling how the Spirit Crane Sect might have the ability to detect the death of their members Ye Gui Feng chooses to expel the fourth elder from this body with a palm strike.

Expelled from his own body the fourth elder bounces back quickly while enduring the pain that came from the enemy's attack but just as he is about to approach his body Ye Gui Feng's copy emerges from within and immediately points to the fourth elder causing a prison formed of golden scriptures to appear.

[Lai-]

Before the fourth elder can call for his servants Ye Gui Feng slams the prison onto the ground causing the former to falter in his shout.

Waving his hand Ye Gui Feng makes the prison soundproof preventing the fourth elder from making another attempt at calling for help.

[Now then...]

Looking around the room for anything that he may have missed while being under the fourth elder's hateful glare Ye Gui Feng makes sure to check each and every possible corner for anything that could be used to set off an alarm.

[Right everything has been taken care of.]

Ignoring whatever it is that the fourth elder may be shouting about in his imprisonment Ye Gui Feng has his copy re-enter the former's body and immediately begins his process of taking it over.

Back at where his actual body is Ye Gui Feng heaves a light sigh at having successfully completed his infiltration of the Spirit Crane Sect.

(I should take this time to get a few things done while I wait.)

Knowing that it will take some time for his copy to finish the process of taking over the fourth elder's body Ye Gui Feng looks down at his storage ring.

(I've already comprehended the creation method of a personal storage space so I may as well get it done now.)

First and foremost he wanted to create a personal storage space that is similar to the one used by Yi to store his valuables. This way his copy will have access to these valuables in case it needed them.

After that he wishes to get accustomed to the power that he had obtained from the Asura Monarch.

(Yi can't possibly fight and kill off two Half-Monarchs on his own. If we want to have a higher chance at getting rid of all witnesses, then I also need to raise my current strength.)

The Absolute Law that has control over all forms of lightning, it is difficult for Ye Gui Feng to suppress the expectations that he has for this power as it could very well cause his strength to enter the realms of a Half-Monarch.
