Feeling his connection to his Absolute Law cut off the instance the thunder character is dragged into the river's vortex the Asura Monarch is just about to take a step forward but-

[End of an Era-]

*...!!!!!!* enacting the second part of Ming Ye Chuan's Absolute Law Hua Luo points the damaged lantern downwards and seemingly stirs the entirety of the river with it causing the vortex's speed of rotation to hasten.

(Now that I think about it all, if not most of Ming Ye Chuan's Absolute Laws are divided into two or three parts.)

*...! ...! ...!* as the power of life, death, and reincarnation explosively erupts from Hua Luo's body the surface of the river bubbles like a pool of hot oil.

*...!!!!!* a sense of instability can evidently be felt from the eye of the vortex but before this instability can cause the river to collapse-

[But the Beginning of a New Journey.]

*BOOM!!!!!!!* lifting the damaged lantern sharply and throwing out a wave of pale blue embers in the process the maw like vortex widens and from its eye a stream of pale purple lightning is unleashed!

Towards the sight of these pale purple bolts of lightning the Asura Monarch's instinctive reaction is to raise his hand out and control them but-

[Normally I would consider someone to be a fool to try and use lightning against me but...]

Almost as soon as he tries to exert control over the pale purple bolts of lightning the Asura Monarch is surprised to find out that he isn't capable of forming a connection with them causing him to give up on his instinctive actions.

*Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!* in response to his inabilities to take control of the incoming lightning bolts the Asura Monarch rotates his cultivation base to unleash a barrage of his own lightning to fight back!

*...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...! ...!* as the crackling noise and blinding flash of thunder goes off repeatedly it made this scenery look as if there are numerous lightning dragons attempting to devour the other for supremacy!

Amidst this storm of flashing lightning Hua Luo stores the damaged lantern away and takes a step forward to approach the Asura Monarch who tightens his grip over the dark spear without shying away from his opponent's frontal charge.

*Klang!* similar to two blazing comets Hua Luo and the Asura Monarch closes in on the other and as they swing their respective weapons the sound of steel colliding against steel goes off!

*Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang! Klang!* traversing through the chaotic storm of lightning with extreme speeds the two sides continue to clash and with every blow exchanged a spatial fracture would form near them.

Without regards to the spatial fractures that are spawned from their exchanges the two unleashed a series of magic arts and Absolute Laws against the other causing the environment around them to deteriorate further!

[Even at my prime while demonstrating this level of strength an ordinary Half-Monarch couldn't possibly give me this much trouble.]

Amidst this exchange the Asura Monarch smiles.

[If I have all my tools along with the weapon spirits that used them as vessels I could put up a better fight. But I suppose I can't exactly use that as an excuse.]

[A shame that I am unable to see you at your full.]

Backing away from Hua Luo the Asura Monarch raises the dark spear with one hand and takes on a tossing stance.

*Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle! Crackle!* as streams of black and white electricity erupts from the dark spear it transforms into a powerful bolt of lightning and with a gentle throw it flies out the Asura Monarch's right hand and pierces towards Hua Luo's direction!

Undeterred by the dark spear's approach Hua Luo raises his right hand and points to it.

*...!* gently tapping the air a powerful force of will reinforced by the seven powers that backed up his current cultivation base emanates from Hua Luo's body and-

*...!* as soon as this powerful force of will passes by the dark spear's body that is currently a lightning bolt its movements come to an abrupt halt.

[...!]

Towards this unusual sight a look of astonishment appears on the Asura Monarch's face. He can immediately sense the connection he previously had with this spear is slowly being gnawed away at.

[If I wasn't a Quasi-Dao Luo right now I can't possibly hope to reestablish my connection with this spear since you've already used your Absolute Law to refine it.]

As Hua Luo sweeps his finger the lightning bolt that is the dark spear responded with a bit of resistance but as Hua Luo exerts more control over the weapon through his force of will it swings itself in the Asura Monarch's direction.

[Reestablish?]

Noticing the wording that Hua Luo had used the Asura Monarch constricts his eyes and rather quickly he reaches an odd answer.

*...!* as soon as this odd answer appears in the Asura Monarch's head the dark spear fires itself in his direction like the arrow of a bow!
