In the coming day the snow fall in the Four Great Hells worsen.

Despite this it wasn't to the degree in it became a concerning matter for the Xia family or the Spirit Crane Sect so none of the mortals of the two faction's respective populations had to make changes to their daily attires or create a fireplace from scratch to maintain heat in their homes.

In fact seeing this change in the weather was considered by some to be a breath of fresh air after being forced to stare at the same red skies of this realm for so many years.

As the two factions gradually adjusts themselves to this change in the weather Yi's rate of comprehension towards the details of Na Jia's Absolute Law hastens under the invisible aid of Ming Ye Chuan who has yet to even show a trace of his tail and on the third day he manages to make the necessary changes to the sowing process of the curse to which he sends over to Ye Gui Feng.

"Hm?"

Receiving the improved version of the curse and seeing an additional scripture of information that is perhaps an entire page's worth of reading Ye Gui Feng is quick to raise an eye.

[I had to make the changes through the knowledge that I had acquired from the Hell River Sect. The basics of everything related to that sect all begins with the unique cultivation method that is trained by all its disciples so to use this curse you'll have to learn that first.]

Having expected the former to have something to say about this arrangement Yi is just as quick to explain the details.

[I get that this would have saved you quite a bit of time on your end but aren't you just redirecting the issue of time towards me if I have to learn something completely new from scratch?]

[It may seem that way at first but it's nothing new since you've been proficient in handling ghosts and the likes from the very beginning so this shouldn't be too difficult for you to understand. Just think of it as reviewing past materials that you've forgotten about after finding no use for them for so long.]

Having sent this message over Yi seemingly has no intentions to continue the conversation further leaving Ye Gui Feng to deal with the situation as is to which-

(That last sentence of his sounds oddly descriptive so he must have done it in the past.)

An odd feeling of wanting to reprimand the former appears in Ye Gui Feng's heart but thinking this to be nonsense he dismisses the matter without further contemplation.

Memorizing the contents within the jade slip and storing it away Ye Gui Feng adjusts his breath and body conditions as he closes his eyes and enters a state of meditation.

As the contents of the scripture appears in his head Ye Gui Feng rotates his cultivation base and begins to recite the contents in his mind.

The amount of time spent on completing the first recital is less than five minutes and upon its completion-

(Hm...?)

Sensing the scripture to have an immediate effect Ye Gui Feng presses his brows together.

(For it to have an immediate effect... Either this scripture is just that powerful or-...)

Shaking his head in denial of this reasoning Ye Gui Feng readjusts his perspectives.

(Even if this is a cultivation method that came from the Hell River Sect it shouldn't be this effective... In that case is it because my current state of existence is extremely compatible with it?)

Opening his eyes Ye Gui Feng recalls how Yi had described the learning process of this scripture that should be foreign to him to be similar to a review of past materials and having felt the immediate effect of this scripture he felt like there was truly no better way to describe what he had just experienced.

(If this level of effect can be maintained then I really wouldn't have to spend too much time on it. However...)

Looking around at his surroundings without turning his head Ye Gui Feng felt as if there was suddenly a set of eyes being trained upon him and thinking back to how Yi had mentioned the possibilities of Ming Ye Chuan being in the central domain with ill intent-

(Maybe I'm just overthinking all this but being too careful under these circumstances is never a bad thing.)

Taking out the jade slip that is used to contact Yi Ye Gui Feng raises two questions to the former.

[Is this scripture created by Ming Ye Chuan? Does it have any sort of deep connections to him?]

Having sent this message over Ye Gui Feng immediately begins to count the passage of seconds within his head.

[I can't say for certain but according to an old acquaintance of the Hell River Sect this scripture should have existed since the establishment of the sect. Something the matter with it?]

(15 to 16 seconds. That seems to be an appropriate amount of time to both read my message and send a reply back.)

Seeing Yi's response to come within a reasonable period of a few seconds Ye Gui Feng's expression relaxes slightly as he replies with-

[Nothing. Just curious.]

Closing the conversation Ye Gui Feng sinks into thought.

(His response time seems appropriate enough. But he can't say for certain about his answers to my questions... In that case I also can't say for certain if I can trust him completely.)

Finding himself in a difficult situation Ye Gui Feng grinds his thumb against his temple. The reasons that he can think of as to why Yi might want to scheme against him are pure speculations without anything to back them up but at the same time he can't allow himself to dismiss these speculations when personal safety is concerned.

(*Sigh* I really despise having to be so passive about all this...)

Clearing his head Ye Gui Feng sorts through his current situation in an objective manner so as to give himself a clearer view of everything.

(To use this curse I'll need to learn this cultivation method first but...)

Partially reciting the scripture in his head while rotating his cultivation base the feeling of it having an immediately effect is sensed by Ye Gui Feng but at the same time-

(Seems like the more I recite this scripture the more excited this stalker becomes. Fine I suppose I'll play along with them.)
