                                              January 17
                          "But what things were gain to me those i counted loss for Christ." -Philippians 3:7
                          Losing things in this life to gain Jesus. Losing those unnecessary things for what matters most in this life- Christ Jesus.

                          What are the things you have to let go for Christ sake? Which part of you has died to the world?

                          In this life there are going to be a certain thing or it could be everything about you that needs to be change in order to gain Jesus, especially those things pertaining the flesh, those things that distract us from going and knowing Jesus.
                          This actually what Paul did...who was once called Saul, a persecutor of Christian during his time 'til Jesus called him... And God made known to him his true purpose/mission in this life... To share the gospel...to the gentiles.

                          He changed drastically, shocking enough that when He was just starting no one believed him, they were thinking that it was all a bait, to further persecute believers in Christ Jesus.
                          He had let go of his profession and became someone, whom his past self would punish/persecute...  a persecutor of believer became an apostle of Jesus Christ. The Irony. Yet God's amazing plan laid out.

                          There are alot of stories in the Bible regarding the life of God's chosen people, how they changes and glorified God.

                          Just stick on God's calling to you, it will happen to you as well... Remember to gain God and Jesus we have to let go of our flesh and stick to what the Spirit of the Lord teach us.

                          What is the most important thing right now? Fulfilling God's will? Yeah but it boils down to giving God glory. Because everything is for His greater glory.
                          May we be in the same mind with all the great men of God in the Bible, to seeking God no matter what even if it cost us the things we value so much in this world, realizing that Jesus is above all these things and He is worth so much more. He is everything for without Him nothing is made.
                          May we realize it all the earliest since the days have become evil and the world is full of distractions that lead to eternal destruction and know that there is only one way to safety and that way is Jesus Christ, He is the way to eternal life. And so be sure to gain Him and to count others as loss.
