WORD OF GOD:

Jos 3:10 And Joshua said, "By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Hivites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Jebusites:"

How do we know that God is with us? In the older times (during the old testament), they know that God was with them because they have won the battles they have faced and their enemies can't overcome them. I sincerely believe that it is also true in today's generation because Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb. 13:8). And our God doesn't change that is why we are not consumed (Mal.3:6). That is what i believe in. Winning the battles in this life is an evidence that God is present in us. A proof that our living God is working in our midst.

During Joshua's time they have conquered a lot of nations by keeping and doing God's guidance and commands... but they also failed at some point because they disobeyed God, one of the chosen people sinned against God namely Achan and it brought shame to their nation- they were defeated. We must be careful not to sin, because sin separate us from God (Isaiah 59:2) and from all the victories, blessings, & goodness He possess.

But we can still get back to Him if we confess our sins with sincerity and truly repent then He is faithful to forgive us.

We should hand over all our sins to the one who died to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Jesus was sent for us to save us from the sins that we commit that will ultimately lead us to hell...eternal death.

Jesus reconnects us to God by faith and not by our own works. But because of Him we are saved...and we can have the life everlasting we desperately need in this world full of death leading distractions.

Jesus is the way we must take on to lead us to God the Father and to the victory we desire in this world, our battlefield.

We can win all our battles in this life if...and only if we are in God's side.

To God be the glory!
