"Come and let us return unto the Lord: for He hath torn, and He will heal us; He hath smitten, and He will bind us up. After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up and we shall live in His sight." -Hosea 6:1-2
Three things will our God be doing in our lives as we embark on a journey in this life as we begun to have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
ONE. God will break us apart.
You might ask yourself like, "WHAT?!" Yes you have read it correctly. But please allow me...
Have you read C.S. Lewis quote on us being a living house? (You have to read it) But the point is like this one, Imagine an ordinary house being torn/broken down or destroyed by a man who had bought it only because he was making a mansion out of it. It is the same thing with what God is doing in our lives. He is breaking and taking out things that will bring us down and though it will hurt us but it is for our own good, to make us great in His sight. He is changing you from being ordinary to extraordinary. He know what He is doing, we just have to trust Him, the ultimate Master Builder, and the Creator of all thing.
TWO. He will revive us.
Yes, God will break us with the intention of reviving us and this is not just about healing and restoration but this is to make us even stronger and better. Not just in physically but also spiritually. This revival will eventually lead us to that extraordinary path God has laid down for us. And that way is Jesus Christ.
THREE. He will raise us up.
As we walk on that path God has prepared for us with a cheerful heart and faithfulness He will bless and reward us. He will prosper us for sure just have faith in Him and seek Him diligently (Hebrews 11:6).
This things will happen to us and during those times our faith is in need. Struggles and pain are inevitable but also know that there will be a time of healing and revival. Importantly there will be a day God will promote us if we will stay faithful to Him despite the problems we encounter.
To God be the glory!
