"Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, pr of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver." -2 Corinthians 9:7

Our God is a giver. We all know that. And as a christian, we ought to do the same...

When we give God is commanding is to give with a cheerful heart, we don't give because we are forced or that is what we ought to do, we give because, we desire to be like our God because we love and admire Him.

If we give, with an intention of showing off or to just fulfill God's command... it ends up being coerce, your giving is in vain. God only accepts those gifts/offering/tithes or any other form of giving physically and spiritual things that are only from the heart, from a happy heart.

We give because of God. All for His glory.

May we be reminded today of whatever we give, we give and we are able to give because of Him who has given us His life for us to live... and so we rejoice to give unto others and to Him because He has given us more than we could ever give, everlasting life.
