"If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnance, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known that we will not serve thy gods nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up." -Daniel 3: 17-18

For me this talks about an immovable faith... A faith firmly rooted in God.

Because in every situation, no matter what happens, either good or bad, a true christian stands firm in what He believes and that's what Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego did. It doesn't matter what God will do or won't do as long as His will be done. As a follower of Christ we already know the end of everything and it is always for our good, because we know the God we are serving. And because we know who our God is, in Him we get all the confidence to face each day knowing He will never leave nor forsake us and that in every battle we encounter we know and believe that He will fight for us. That at the end of the story of our lives we will end up in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Where God is there will His people be, and we are His people.

That immovable faith will make us victors in this life and for eternity by God's grace thru Christ Jesus. In the same way that those 3 men were saved, mentioned in later verse 24-29 that as they were place in the exceedingly hot burning furnance while the guards that brought them in were burned but they weren't...there wasn't even a smell of smoke in them and that the Son of God was with them said the king. Jesus was there with them! After that incident thy got promoted, they were blessed mention in the last verse of chapter 3.

What i like about this and in what I've learn with this verse is that...having such great faith doesn't only make us victorious, untouchable by any harm, or that we get to be blessed rather the thought that Jesus, the Son of God is with you... That thought is enough... Jesus is more than enough!

It doesn't matter what struggles we will face in the future all that matters is if Christ is with you thru it all...because no matter what will happen along the way the ending is already been made known to all of us, christian, our end is home. For home is where our God is. God is in heaven and so heaven is where we'll be. Just continue to hold on your faith, stand firm and look unto Jesus. Don't allow distractions to lead you to destruction. There's only one way, that way is Jesus. Be sure to take that way and at the end, all is well with our soul.

To God be the glory!
