"I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears." -2 Samuel 22:4&7
How can God hear our voice and save us? How? What did King David did that made God hear His voice?
One thing we need to know about King David is that, he's such a praiser and He knows what kind of God he is serving, and he knows too well that God is worthy of praise and so he praises God. That's why God hears him when he prays.
To be an incredible praiser requires great faith in the Lord... for without which it is impossible to please God. For God to hear and save us, we must have faith in Him and really know Him personally that He is worthy to be praise and glorified, to be able to praise and glorify Him the way King David did it needs a saving faith, rooted not just by trusting God but importantly loving God and Him alone above all else. Truth be told it is easy to praise someone whom you know and much easier with someone whom you love. And the praise God recognize is one that comes from the heart. After all, David is a man after God's heart (Acts 13:22).
To God be the glory!
