"But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ..." -Philippians 3:20

We are for heaven.

There is only one answer to our life's disappointments, that we are not meant to be here.
Struggles & sufferings are everywhere and in different forms. We seek for joy, contentment, peace, love, life and salvation but truth be told all the things we seek in this life is in God alone. That is why we are not and will never be fully satisfied.

We often look at life as a meaningless journey yet we can never hide the fact that we seek for meaning and purpose. We just can't find it mainly because we are searching at wrong places.
You might ask where am i going with all these... it is the way it is because we are not satisfied because if we were we wouldn't have questions that are unanswered or better we wouldn't have questions instead about life in general.
We are unsatisfied about many things in this temporal world we live in because we are made for an eternal world.
"If i find in myself: a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanatiin is that i was made for another world." -CS Lewis

This world can never satisfy us in all the desires we have for we are designed for heavenly and eternal things that is why the temporal and fading things can't in any way fill us up. With that being said, only the Word of God can fill us up... heaven and earth will fade but God's Word will never fade (Mark 13:31).
So while we are here on earth we as a Christian should set our minds on heavenly things not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2). Minding on our Heavenly Father's business of expanding His kingdom by winning souls for Jesus.
Knowing the truth that we are of heaven must drive our lives in living for the One who has given us eternal life, to the God-Man named Jesus Christ- our Savior.

To God be the glory!
