"I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast little strength, and has kept my word and hast not denied me." -Revelation 3:8

God will open a door for us that will lead us to victory, blessings, life everlasting and to our final destination- heaven, ...and that said door can no man shut.

How can that door be opened? 'I know thy works...' by our works, when God sees our works, meaning faith with works! That all we do is for His glory and renown.

3 things He mentioned:
First. 'for thou hast little strength'. This can be interpreted as, we are weak- we consider ourselves weak. A sign of humility. To humble ourselves to God that we can't save ourselves and we acknowledge Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Also this can mean, that our flesh is weak. If that is the case the Spirit is strengthen. For when we are weak physically then are we strong spiritually.
Second. 'and hast kept my word'. Keeping God's Word is doing/applying the Word of God in our lives. Living the Word of God in this world we live in. Having the Word of God in us, in our hearts so that we may sin not against Him.
Lastly. 'and hast not denied me.' Not denying Jesus is proclaiming Jesus. To proclaim Him in words and our deeds and in every single day of our lives. This may seem easy to some of you, to preach Jesus... It is easy when we are in times of plenty and blessing but how about during our darkest moment, those days when you feel like dying/when it hurts so much... can you still proclaim the Good News Jesus has brought in our lives?

Have you not denied Him? Can you look back at your life today see and understand things? How the world has influenced us and maybe... Just maybe in some point in our live we did deny Him?

How you laugh along with those people who bullied the nerd/weird guy in class? How unforgiving you are to those who has sin against you? How often you talkback to your parents and disrespect them? How you think lustful things? How you want bad things to happen to those who have hurt you? How you are not disturb when others are hurt/dying? How you love and enjoy worldly things than giving God the worship He deserves? How you neglect spiritual gatherings over worldy ativities? How you accept homosexuality? How you have sex/make love before marriage? How you look at pornographic things? How you love to complain so much? And a lot more.

Where am i going with all that? Well, many times in our life when we thought and say we have acknowledge Jesus and called ourselves christians but our actions doesn't seem to go along with what we say and with the principles we believe in. And if that is the case truly we are not christians, and that we have denied Jesus.

Proclaiming Jesus is not just believing in who He is and in what He has done... It is also believeing in what He believes in-  the truth he upholds, and in the way He has lived His life.

Then again we are imperfect being but thank God we have a perfect, merciful, just and loving God... If we ask for forgiveness He will forgive us and cleanse from all unrighteousness.

In all these, let your works be make known to the world for them to see the light in you and surely God will reward you by opening the door that will lead you to victory & blessings while we are still alive today (prosper us physically) and importantly- life everlasting, and to heaven (spiritually speaking).
