"He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not." -John 1:10Have we truly acknowledge God in our lives today? We wouldn't say we have denied Him, right? We are christian after all or maybe that's what we call ourselves, christian but... Have we lived out our faith? Has God been glorified.in our lives? Or is He not? There is a big difference in 'saying you're a christian' and 'being a christian'.
The phrase, 'the world knew Him not', is absolutely true ...people are blinded by the enemies thru the system of the world so that they would be distracted of God's grace for their salvation and be destroyed ultimately. I believe knowing Christ Jesus is the first step of our faith unto life everlasting, thru Jesus.
Though that verse doesn't only give us a clear picture of what is happening in today's generation, it also-importantly, remind us, christians of our responsibility to live out our faith in this world for them (those who are still blinded) to see amd get to know Jesus thru our lives today.
We have a great task at hand, to be like Christ... To heal the blind, that is to give back their sight (heal them spiritually).
The world is in need of a light. The Scripture states that Jesus is the light of the world... And if we have Jesus in us- in our hearts, we can be that light to those in the dark, the world is definitely a dark place to be in- its full of pain, struggles, tribulations, sickness, hunger, violence and wickeness. Though there may be joy but it will eventually fade, as peace turns into misery, hope into despair, & life into death because of its ruler, the chief commander of this world... he is nothing but evil. If we are able to live out our faith in this dark world we will be igniting a light that leads to a hope, joy, peace, salvation, love and life- thru Jesus Christ, things that pertains to eternity that only God can provide.
God's desire is to save all people... And the only way for man to be saved is if they will believe in Christ Jesus, who cleansed us from our sin thru His blood on the cross.
May we live out our faith, in a way that people will get to know Jesus, as we preach Him in words and in deeds.
To God be the glory!
