Isa 3:10 "Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings."
I believe being righteous is acting out one's faith, living your faith in the world...that faith is rooted and grounded in Christ Jesus and so all our deeds boils down for God's greater glory.
God is well pleased if He is being glorified. Pleasing God requires faith, without faith it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6). For our faith to be pleasing to God has to have works, that is why we need to live out our faith for the world to see and for them to be able to see God in us, giving Him all the glory and honor He deserves for being who He is and in what He has done for us.
Acting out our faith is doing God's will and command...performing His Word in our daily lives. We can only act it out if we are able to understand His Word and be able to know its value, and everything start by hearing the Word of God for faith comes from hearing the Word (Romans 10:17).
If we are able to live out our faith know and believe that God will bless us, to give us strength, wisdom, joy, peace, love, and life everlasting... God will reward us.
"...for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." -Hebrews 11:6
Note on the '...diligently seek Him...' not partially rather wholeheartedly, with our full attention, our utmost priority as a followers of Christ. Seeking God is really important, because in knowing Him we can be aware of the things that pleases our God. And it leads us to living out our faith and be called righteous in the sight of God.
To God be the glory!
