"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the suffering of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ." -2 Corinthians 1:3-5

If we do suffer in this world because of Jesus, be it known that our comfort is in Christ Jesus. If we know that would you worry?

In whatever troubles we encounter, the pain we experience is but a moment, the sorrow or grieve we feel can only be ease by God's love and grace. We are comforted by God thru the promises He has spoken in the Scripture.
"...In the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." -John 16:33
"...and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." -1 John 5:4
There are a lot of consolations mentioned in the Bible for us, christians... One is that, God will fight for our battles, also He said He will never leave us nor forsake us... We can do all things thru Christ, who strengthen me. And more verses as you read His Word! We are comforted by reading and understanding the Word of God.

What really comforts me in facing my struggles is the fact that i can be with my God for eternity, in heaven...
"For i reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." -Romans 8:18

God didn't promise a trouble-free life rather He promises that He will be with us, to comfort us and He will fight for our battles... We only need to believe.

And because of what God did for us, comforting us in times of trouble, He also wants us to do the same...to comfort those who need it, encourage people with His Wors and to not forsake those struggling. Because thru God's comfort, we can then console others...help them in a way with their lives, and by doing so we are obeying God and we have set ourselves in becoming a light in this world thru living God's Word.
