"For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." -1 Corinthians 3:11

We need Jesus, as a source/foundation in what we are going to build in our lives in order for it to last a lifetime that will ultimately lead us to eternity. In our career, we need Jesus to sustain us and give us wisdom, this goes to the students also... In our marriage, we need Jesus for love be upon us, God's love so that our married life can endure all trials and suffering, the rest are not genuine for God is love, Him alone. And a lot more that we want to build in our lives. Foundation aside from God are temporal, it will never exist forever...it will eventually died down... Only God's Word will never fade (Mark 13:31). The Word, is Jesus himself (John 1:1, 14)

Remember the parable about the Wise & Foolish Man. If you happen to read it,
In the the parable, we see people who both planted their houses the only difference is that their foundation... The other one trusted in the flesh, those fleeing things and so he was considered foolish while the others we're wise, those whose foundation is the rock, Jesus Christ.

May we be wise enough to decide what we want for God's greater glory!

God didn't laid down a lot of foundation, for us to be saved... He laid down just one, Jesus. Only if we focus on Him that he will surely bless us.
