"And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon His name, declare His doing among the people, make mention that His name is exalted." -Isaiah 12:4

When will that day be for you? That question isn't suitable for those Christian (applicable only to those unbeliever and poser, i believe). Instead the question should have been: When should we worship God?

Our minds are narrow that we often associate worship as a song, or we worship only on Sundays during service... we limit worship that way when we can worship God everyday and anytime and in every thing we do. Worship is a way of life. Worshipping God is a Christians way of life.

Praising God, calling upon His name, testifying His greatness to people, and lifting His name up are acts of worship... Worshipping God is the central activity of a Christian life.

The only way we can worship God is when we have faith in Him, a faith that saves. The earlier verses in Isaiah 12 delves into salvation and i quote in verse 2, '...He also is become my salvation.' They have acknowledge God and been saved by God. It was evident in the previous verses what God did to the people that made them say in that day, (Isaiah 12:4) praising the Lord, call upon Him, declare His doing and make mention of His name on High. Those were their actions after acknowledging the benefits they receive from God. And those are normal response, isn't it not? When someone does you a very big favour, you don't just leave it like that you feel the need of giving back to Him because you think it is the right thing to do after all the hassle he did for you instead of you doing it, right? Especially favours we don't deserve.

For example: You have this huge debt you can ever pay your whole life and not even your death can settle it. And here comes someone, who is the only one capable and willing to pay for it in your stead, settles everything and boom you have no records of debt because of him, and knowing what he did for you... what would you do for him? Do you think thanking him would be enough? You know, just feel grateful and do nothing... would you do that? You tell me what you would do? To person who literally saved your life with His life.

GIVE HIM THE GLORY. That is the only way we should do. In everything we do, worship Him... do things for Him live for Him and if you die, then die for Him who willingly died for you. That is how He gets all the glory He deserves.

'When should we worship God?'

Like i said, worshipping God is a way of life. Now is the best time to start and it ought not to stop. It should be done every day, every minute, in whatever we do and in whatever circumstances we are in today and tomorrow.

What the people did in the old testament and to be exact in Isaiah 12 was a normal reaction and it should be our response to God, to Jesus Christ who willingly stood in our place, took our sin and died for it so you could live and have a place in heaven with Him. Worship Him.

To God be the glory!
