"There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." -Romans 8:1

Many of us would not read the entire verse and end up stopping halfway,
'There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.'
In this verse the most important thing is neglected... there is no condemnation to those Christians, who walk after the Spirit and not those Christians, who walks after the flesh.
Apostle Paul wrote this letter to the Church in Romans, clearly he means the Christians... Paul address this verse to the believers not unbelievers.
So it means there are certain Christian that can go to hell, those who walks after the lust of the flesh... they are condemn already, judged guilty and are lead to eternal destruction.

This verse warns us, Christian on which path we should not take. The path of the flesh. As much as this is a warning... this is also a guide, and informative and a help for us in what path we should take, the path of the Spirit... where there is no condemnation to those every believer walking in the Spirit of the Lord.
Check yourself?!
What path are you taking in your Christian faith?
Are you still being lead by the flesh? Or are you lead by the Spirit?

It is only when we walk after the Spirit we can be saved. Take note not all Christians are saved only those who keeps their faith alive by walking after the Spirit... good works is a manifestation to the world that we, as a Christians, are saved. Though we are saved by grace, yes and not by works but our good works, are a manifestation that we are saved, such works are fruit of the Spirit. Know that faith without works is dead. Live out your faith.
Be on guard not just of the world but of your own flesh as well. As they say, our greatest enemy can be ourselves... Lecrae mentioned once that sometimes 'deliver me from evil' means yourself. (Forgot the exact words but the thought is like that. :)
And i think maybe not sometimes rather most of the time our flesh would try to overpower our faith and that is bad for us... real bad because it can lead us to hell... rather than our flesh we should activate our faith... ask for God's grace, His grace is pardon and power for us, believers. Fight back against your flesh and satan, as John Piper would say, 'Make War'. Life is a spiritual battlefield and for us to overcome it all is thru God and His Word, His word is our sword (Hebrews 4:12).
Don't allow sin to win against your faith by allowing your flesh to rule. Kill sin or else it will kill you by leading you to hell.
Remember there is no condemnation to those Christians, who walk after the Spirit, ... when you are walking after the Spirit sin is never an option and temptation is ignored and God is glorified.
To God be the glory!
