"For i am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jews first, and also to the Greek." -Romans 1:16 KJV

Our salvation is being powered by the gospel of Jesus Christ thru faith. Without the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our salvation would be worthless and powerless.

Knowing that, being ashamed is never an option to a Christian and if you are ashamed then truly you have not believe in Him, who died to save you and give you eternal life.

The gospel of Christ can be summed up with a word, GRACE.

A pardon & power from God.

Sinner needs a pardon and a power to left them up from a lowly state to a glorious one in Christ Jesus.

Our transformation from a sinner to saint is something only the power of God can do thru the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in you the moment you are born again not just by water but by the Spirit... whom you'll receive by faith. That power of God thru His Word will enable us to be saved.

"I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life." - 1 John 5:13

The Good News that has power enables us to become sons & daughters of God.

"The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God." ~ Mere Christianity, By C. S. Lewis" -C.S. Lewis

The Good News is Jesus Himself. He is the gospel. The Man-God, who willingly died on the cross because of love, though at that moment when He was being persecuted have known that there's a possibility that we can never love Him back but it didn't stop Him for loving us instead He has shown us how much He loves us on the cross, and that is true love... giving Himself without expecting anything from us.

Should you be ashamed of Him?

How do you think He would feel? It would be like, crucifying Him over and over. You should be ashamed to call yourself a Christian if you are ashamed of the gospel of Christ.

To God be the glory!
