"Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." -Matthew 11:28At some point in our lives we get tired and faint especially after facing our struggles and when we feel that things aren't done in the way we planned it...and we get frustrated and so stressed...misery takes over that'll take away our peace and it'll make us restless.
It is not good to be tired/faint being a christian...why? Because i believe it will ultimately take away our zeal in serving God...it is a negative vibe after all. Surely this will affect our faith in God.
Good thing though that with this verse, God is enlighting or reminding us, in whom we should go in times we get tired and weak... To Him after all He is the giver of life and also our strength comes from Him. As mentioned in Phil. 4:13, 'I can do all things thru Christ, who strengthen me.'
As Christian, our source of life is God and our everyday endeavors is centered in Jesus, and if that is the case the only way we can, in a way recharge ourselves is also thru Him. And this is what this is about.
Think about a phone...If we use it slowly the battery will soon drain because phones can't last forever on its own, right? It needs to be recharge now & then. In order to regain its power. I believe this is also true to every Christian out there and the only way we can be charge or recharge is thru God...thru Jesus Christ...thru the Word of God...for us to regain strength.
So turn to God when times get tough and when you are weak and believe in what He said and trust Him in what He is doing to You...because all this requires faith, without faith it is impossible to believe God and that He rewards those who have done His will.
To God be the glory!
