*Avengers Endgame*

Nat had just ended her conference call with all of the other protectors and was clearly worn down. She put her head in her hands and sighed heavily.

Everything was taking a toll on her and she was just about ready to break down when she felt something tugging on the hem of her shirt.

She looked up and saw your daughter staring back at her with her big, bright E/C eyes. She was holding a plate with a PB & J sandwich on it.

"Hey, Ana. What are you still doing awake?" Nat asked her.

"I made you dinner," she answered. "Your favorite."

Nat took the plate and placed it on the table before picking Ana up and placing her on her lap. She gave Ana a big kiss on the cheek to which Ana responded with a happy giggle.

"Thank you so much, sweetie," Natasha thanked her. "That was so thoughtful of you."

"No problem, mama."

"Ana!" you yelled from a distance and Ana started looking guilty.

"Ana," Nat began.

"Yes, mama?" Ana responded.

"Does Mommy know you're not in bed?" Nat questioned.

"Maybe," Ana answered.

"Anastasia Monique Romanoff-Y/L/N, where are you?" you yelled.

"Uh oh, bye bye, mama," Ana said before jumping off of Natasha's lap and running away.

Just as she left, you walked into the room.

"Where is she?" you asked your wife.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Nat shrugged while taking a bite out of her sandwich.

"Oh, so I suppose that sandwich you're eating just came out of thin air," you responded.

"Stranger things have happened, babe."

"You know, what you two are doing is unfair. You're ganging up against me," you said.

"Actually, it is fair. It's two against two," Nat retaliated while pointing at you portuding belly.

"Yeah, well this is a fetus so my point still stands," you argued and Nat chuckled.

You couldn't help but smile as you walked up to her and sat on the table in front of her.

"How are you holding up?" you asked her, taking her hands into your own.

Natasha sighed and looked down for a moment before meeting your eyes.

"Not very well. It's been five years but everything is still so overwhelming and draining. Sometimes I can barely get out of bed. Sometimes I don't want to," she explained. "I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for, my love?"

"While I'm here moping, you're taking care of everything. You're keeping the tower running, cleaning up after everybody, watching over Ana and all while pregnant! And I'm just a burden," Nat answered, on the verge of tears.

"Now that's just not true," you disagreed. "Sure I'm doing all that stuff you just mentioned but you're also doing important stuff.

You're spending time with Ana when you can, you're keeping Steve from going off the deep end and you're still checking in with everybody and making sure everything's still running smoothly. That's pretty damn important if you ask me."

You wiped the tears from Nat's face and kissed the top of her head.

"Thanks," she mumbled.

"You're welcome."
