"Loki! Why are you not dressed yet?" Odin asked angrily while storming into his son's room.
Loki was casually laying on his bed, playing with his daggers without a single care in the care in the world.
"Get off that bed!"
Odin walked up to the bed and was about to yank Loki off when he heard a voice come from next to him.
"Actually father, I'm over here," it said.
Odin turned to the source of the voice just as the Loki on the bed disappeared. The real Loki was sitting on the floor in the corner of his room cross-legged with a huge book on his lap.
"I told your mother teaching you magic was a mistake," Odin grumbled.
Loki snapped his book shut and took long strides towards his father.
"I've been reading about Elohmire," he began. "Are you sure you want to unite with them?"
"Elohmire is a formidable foe that could easily crush us if given the chance. We need that type of power to be with us rather than against," Odin explained.
"I heard that they have a ruthless leader that can be set off by the simplest thing," Loki said. "Again I ask, are you sure you want to unite with them?"
Odin just stared at his son, clearly unamused and impatient.
"Just get ready Loki."

Odin, Frigga, Thor and Loki were all waiting patiently in the throne room. They all had fake grins plastered on their faces.
"She's late," Loki said through gritted teeth.
"Quiet Loki," Odin said.
"You still have a chance to back out father. Take it," Loki said.
"Loki..." Odin growled.
"Boys!" Frigga scolded. "Behave."
A scrawny looking man holding a large horn half his size walked into the throne room. He cleared his throat and began speaking.
"Introducing her majesty Y/N Y/L/N, the queen of Elohmire and Goddess Of War," then he blew the large horn and the doors opened.
When Loki heard her name he expected a shrivelled old woman holding a cane that was secretly a dagger or something, surrounded by hundreds of guards but the woman walking through the doors looked nothing like that.
She had glowing,
—literally glowing— radiant brown skin. She had box-braids with golden cuffs on every single braid. She wore a dress that looked to be on fire and as Loki looked closer he realised that it was. Next to her were two hellhounds that were growling at the royal family."Queen Y/N. Truly an honour," Odin said with a bow.
The rest of the family bowed but Y/N raised her hand as if to tell them 'stop'. They straightened themselves out and looked at her.
"Odin," she acknowledged with a head nod. "Frigga."
She looked at Loki and Thor for a moment as if trying to figure out who they were.
"Sons of Odin and Frigga," she said.
Loki nodded back but Thor carried on staring at her fire dress.
"I'm Loki and this is my brother, Thor," Loki introduced.
"Thor," Y/N called out. "May I help you?"
"Your dress is on fire," Thor stated simply.
"It is? Oh my goodness, I must've not noticed. That must be why everyone has been giving me weird looks all day and here I was, thinking I had something stuck in my teeth," she said jokingly.
Loki snickered and Y/N winked at him.
With a simple twirl, the flaming dress instantly disappeared and in its place was a long flowing open shoulder red dress with a lace bottom and lace sleeves.
"There, much better."
The royal family was still in awe of her, especially Loki.
"Now, let's discuss the unity of our kingdoms shall we?" she asked.

Loki wasn't allowed inside the meeting room where Odin held all his important gatherings so, he was just walking though the palace gardens, thinking about something when he heard a female voice speak from behind.
"Loki, right?" she asked.
He turned around, with his daggers in his hands but calmed down once he saw Y/N standing in front of him.
"Wow, impressive daggers," she complimented. "I have 75 just like them."
"75?" Loki questioned.
"Well, I had more but I lost them over the years," she said sheepishly. "Along with 352 swords, 45 maces, 690 spears and 1000 throwing stars. Yeah, the first few years of ruling Elohmire were not easy."
Loki smiled at her adorable-ness. Never once did he think the goddess of war would be so sheepish and easily embarrassed.
"Why are you here?" Loki asked. "The meeting isn't over yet."
"True, but it got really boring and so, I decided to be put here with you instead," she admitted. "I have a fake me in the room right now though."
"You know how to do magic?"
This girl just kept getting better and better.
"Well sort of," he heard a voice from behind him say and there stood another Y/N. "I've been learning."
"Would you care to take a walk with me through the palace gardens?"
Y/N nodded and the pair began their walk together.
It would not be over exaggerating to say that this was the best walk Loki had ever been on. He always knew that the gardens looked beautiful but somehow they seemed even better today. It seemed as though Y/N added to their beauty by simply being there.
The feeling was mutual for Y/N. Ruling an entire kingdom by herself was tiring and stressful so, to have someone treat her like a normal person was a stress reliever.
By the time they decided to just sit down and relax, the sun had gone down and the stars were shining brightly.
"What's it like on Elohmire?" Loki asked.
Y/N sighed deeply, as if she were thinking of the best place in all nine realms.
"It's beautiful. There's no hunger, famine, poverty or war,"she explained.
"It sounds wonderful."
"It wasn't always that way. The queen before me was a ruthless dictator who didn't care for others."
"Sounds horrible," Loki commented.
"She was my mother," Y/N said.
"Oh," Loki could feel his cheeks instantly go redder.
Y/N laughed at him.
"She was horrible. When she died, I promised to be nothing like her and so far, so good."
They didn't say much after that. Only occasionally mentioned how beautiful the stars looked and what a wonderful night this was. They didn't need to say much though, the glances they were sending each other already said everything.
Y/N turned onto her side so that she could see Loki properly while he did the same.
"Asgard is beautiful," she told him.
"Yeah," he responded, absentmindedly.
"I think I should unite it with Elohmire."
As she said that she intertwined her fingers with Loki's. He smiled the gesture.
"I'd like that," he said.
"Me too."
