"How was that?" Shawn asked his publicist.

"Amazing Shawn. Absolutely amazing," she gushed, unaware of you mocking her silently behind her back.

Shawn couldn't help but let out a little snort.

"Did I say something funny?" she asked.

Shawn immediately wiped the smile off of his face and shook his head slowly.

"No, ma'am."

"Good," she huffed.

The moment she looked away, he shot you a warning look and you just smiled back innocently. Jolene —the publicist— caught you two and scoffed loudly.

"Remind me again why she's here," she said.

"Uh..." Shawn began.

"My house is being fumigated," you jumped in. "Nasty, nasty infestation."

"And you didn't have anywhere else to stay?" she asked rudely.

"And you have somewhere to be right now?" you asked in the same tone.

"As a matter of fact, I do."

Then she gathered her belongings and sashayed out with her head held high. As soon as she left, you growled at the door and muttered incoherent curses under your breath.

Shawn chuckled at your actions and wrapped his arms around your waist from behind. You let out a frustrated sigh and laid your head on his shoulder.

"I can't stand her," you told him.

"I think the feeling's mutual."

You turned to face him and gave him a small peck on the lips.

"Does this mean we can wear our rings and hang up our photos again?" you asked him.

His face fell a little bit.

"No, I'm sorry. Camilla's coming over today for a video and photo shoot."

Instead of responding, you just pulled yourself out of his grip and walked to your bedroom.

"Babe," Shawn called out as he followed you. "Babe, come on."

When he reached your guys' room he saw that you were wearing your ring and were putting up your photos. He was about to say something to you but then got distracted by his most favourite photo.

You were wearing a simple white dress with barely any makeup on and Shawn, who was wearing black dress pants and a white button up with the first three buttons undone, was carrying you bridal style while flower petals and raindrops fell on you both. You two looked so happy and care-free.

Shawn smiled widely.

"It's my favourite one too," you spoke up.

"Why are you hanging them up in here?" Shawn asked. "And why are you wearing your ring?"

"Because Camilla is not going to be in our bedroom and as far as she's concerned this ring isn't a wedding one," you answered.

Shawn shrugged.

"True," he stated. "But hey, listen. We've still got a few hours before she gets here and I've got a few ideas on how to fill the time."

He walked up to you and pulled your body closer to his then he began kissing along your collarbone.

"Ooh, as tempting as that sounds. I'm gonna have to pass," you said as you gently pushed him away. "We're running desperately low on unhealthy, sugary, junk foods and as your wife and foundation upon which this home stands, it's my job to restock. Bye!"

"Oh, come on. You can always do that later."

"Yeah, but I don't want to," you pouted and walked out.

"I love you!" Shawn called out.

"I know!" you called back.

Shawn just laughed and thought about how extremely lucky he is to have you in his life.
