*Avengers: Age Of Ultron*
I walked over to where Clint was flying the quinjet and placed a subtle kiss on top of his head when no one was looking.
"Hey," I said.
"Hi," he said back.
"Look, I don't know what that witch showed you back there but it was all fake," I reassured him.
"She didn't show me anything," he responded.
"She showed everybody something," I said.
"Not me," he said.
I felt like there was something that he wasn't telling me but I couldn't ask him about it because Tony was coming over.
"If you want some kip, now's a good time, because we're still a few hours out," Clint told him.
"A few hours from where?" Tony asked.
"Safe house," Clint answered simply.
"Safe house?" I repeated. "What safe house?"
Clint just gave me a smirk and carried on flying the jet.
TIME SKIP
The jet landed on a green field that had a house not too far away.
"No," I whispered then I turned to Clint. "No."
"It's the only place I could think of," he whispered back.
"No," I repeated.
"Babe, please," he pleaded.
I looked back at the team and saw Natasha in pain.
"Fine," I hissed out. "But only for Nat."
Clint smiled at me and I smiled back at him.
We went to the back, got Nat up and walked out of the jet with the rest of the team following us. When we reached our front door I heard Thor ask,
"What is this place?"
And Tony replied with a, "Safe house."
"Let's hope," Clint said.
I turned to Clint.
"Seriously, if anything happens, I will crush your windpipe," I threatened.
He just smiled at me and opened the door. We gently placed Nat on the couch and turned to face the team.
"No, seriously, where are we?" Thor asked.
"Really?" I asked. "The messy living room and refrigerator in the kitchen covered in art and report cards doesn't give it away?"
I heard footsteps running towards the living room and Clint got excited.
"Here they come," he said.
Our kids ran into the room and engulfed Clint and I in a huge hug.
"Hey babies," I laughed.
My daughter, Starr pulled away and raised an eyebrow at me.
"Baby?" she asked. "Mommy, I'm not a baby anymore. I'm a big girl now."
"You're right. I totally forgot, 7 is the new 16," I said.
"7 and a half," she corrected.
I just hugged her again and kissed her face multiple times. She giggled and told me to stop. I put her down and turned to my son, Noah.
"Excuse me sir, I'm looking for my son. He's 4'6 and answers to Bugga Boo," I said.
"Mom," he whined. "I haven't been 4'6 or called Bugga Boo in three years."
