Here I Am, Once Again {Beck Oliver}

Tori walked into the classroom and everyone jumped up and shouted 'Welcome back!' but their excitement quickly faded away when they saw that it wasn't who they thought it was.

"Aw, it's just Tori," Rex said.

Then the whole classroom groaned in disappointment.

"Um, what?" Tori questioned.

"We're expecting someone important today," Andre said. "An old friend of ours; Y/N"

"Who's Y/N—" Tori began, only to get cut off.

"I hear footsteps." someone exclaimed so everybody went back to their original positions. Andre grabbed Tori's arm so she could also hide away and she let out a little squeal.

The door of the classroom opened again and everyone jumped up and yelled, 'Welcome Back!'. You jumped up in fear and clutched your chest while breathing heavily.

"Y/N!" Cat exclaimed then she ran into your arms.

"Cat!" you exclaimed just as happily, squeezing her back.

You looked up and saw some of your old friends smiling back at you. You pulled away from Cat so you could acknowledge them.

"Andre, Robbie, Rex," you listed then you stopped when you saw Tori. "You're new."

Tori looked absolutely star-struck though.

"Y/N Y/L/N?" she questioned. "Your old friend is Y/N Y/L/N?"

"Yeah, who did you think it was?" Andre asked.

"You were on Broadway and have five platinum selling albums and six Grammy's," Tori fangirled. "Oh my gosh, I just met Y/N Y/L/N!"

"Yep, that's me. And you are?"

"Tori Vega," she introduced.

"Nice to meet you," you smiled.

Your eyes landed on Jade and she was standing in the far corner with her arms crossed angrily.

"Jade," you called out but she ignored you. "Jade, I know you can hear me."

She continued ignoring you.

"Well, that's fine. I guess I'll just keep this gift to myself then," you sighed.

Her ears perked at the sound of that but she still didn't look at you.

"Gift?" she questioned. "What gift?"

"How about you come over here and I'll show you," you said.

She reluctantly trudged over to you then you engulfed her in a hug.

"Ugh, this was a trap!" she complained.

You just laughed and carried on squeezing her. She eventually uncrossed her arms and hugged you back.

"Is Jade hugging her back?" Tori asked.

"Yeah, her and Jade were the best of friends before Y/N got discovered," Robbie explained.

"They were basically sisters," Cat added.

Beck walked in and was confused about all the commotion going on outside and inside the school.

"I just saw a limo, four black cars and at least twelve bodyguards outside. And I could barely get in here because the whole school was freaking out. What's going on —" he began asking but stopped when he saw hugging Jade.

You pulled away from her and turned to him.

"Beck," you breathed out.

"Y/N," he said in the exact same tone as you. "You look good."

"So do you," you told him.

"I know."

You laughed and Beck felt his heart skip a beat. It had been so long since he heard that laugh face to face. That laugh used to be the highlight of his day but then you left and he didn't have much to look forward to anymore.

"What's going on now?" Tori whispered, not wanting to ruin whatever moment was going on between you two.

"Y/N and Beck used to date," Andre said.

"What?" Tori asked, still managing to whisper.

"Yeah, they were each other's first love," Jade said. "Before she left, Y/N told me to step in for her and take care of Beck. And we all now how that turned out."

"How's it going over in Beverly Hills?" Beck asked you.

"No better than Hollywood Arts. Bright lights and fame can't compare to being here with you."

Beck blushed. He actually blushed. You were the only one that ever had that effect on him.

"How long you around for?"

"About a week then I'm back on tour," you told him.

"A week, huh?"

"Yeah," you nodded.

"Cool," he shrugged while trying hide the goofy smile on his face.
