*Loki*
Sylvie knew better than to fall in love, especially with someone who she knew she couldn't be with. They had been on the run for basically their entire life and she'd never made that mistake before so why now? And why with you?
Well, it might have something to do with the fact you were the most beautiful, trustworthy, kind-hearted, intelligent and funny person they had ever met. Or the fact that you understood her in a way that nobody else did.
As the world was falling apart outside, you were sat on your living room floor, with Sylvie's hands in yours, staring lovingly into her teary eyes.
"How much longer are we going to have remain like this?" they asked you.
"How much longer do you have?" you asked back.
"A few minutes," she answered.
"Then a few minutes, I suppose," you smiled.
"How are you doing that?" Sylvie asked you.
"Doing what?"
"Smiling while knowing whats about to happen to you? To us?" she elaborated.
"What do you want me to do, my love?"
"I don't know. Cry, yell, scream, throw things, anything. You're about to die, Y/N," Sylvie cried. "I'm about to leave and never see you again."
"I know," you responded with a smile. "But there's nothing you and I can do to change that. It is my destiny to die here and it is yours to be great. You are going to do so many amazing things, Sylvie and you're going to do them without me. And that's okay."
"No, it's not!" she retaliated. "It's not okay! I love you, Y/N. I don't want to leave you behind. You can come with me. We can hide out in apocalypses together and take down the TVA together."
"Sylvie, we've discussed this. You know I can't. As much as I want to, I can't."
"I know," they nodded. "But it still hurts."
You smiled and placed your hand on her cheek which she leaned in to while more tears streamed down her face. You kissed their forehead and then their lips, as tears began streaming down your face as well.
It just hit you that this would be your last time kissing Sylvie, your last time holding her close and just being with her. The thought broke your heart but there was nothing you could do about it. What was about to happen next was inevitable.
You two pulled away and smiled sadly at each other.
"I love you so much," you told them.
"I love you too."
A loud explosion coming from outside indicated that it was time for them to leave. Your time together was officially over.
Sylvie stood up and pulled a small device out of her jacket. They pressed a few buttons and a portal to a whole new apocalypse opened up. Before she went through, you called out to her.
"And Sylvie?"
They looked back to you and saw the proud look on your face.
"Give them Hel," you encouraged.
They nodded before disappearing through the portal, leaving you behind.
