You were sitting at the bridal table, talking to your maid of honour when one of the guests and his wife walked up to you.

"That was a beautiful service, Y/N," he said.

"Thank you," you smiled.

"Well, where is the groom?" the wife asked.

You looked around, hoping to see him but with no such luck.

"I don't know actually," you answered. "He told me he was going to the bathroom fifteen minutes ago and I haven't seen him since."

"Okay, guys, gals and non-binary pals, it's time to find your seats and get ready for our next performer," your Emcee said from the stage.

Everybody went back to their seats and sat down. You, however, were confused because you and Max didn't hire any performers.

When the Emcee walked off the stage, the lights went off and a spotlight suddenly shined on the stage and on your husband. Still confused, you raised your eyebrow, wondering what was happening.

"I remember the first night Y/N and I moved in together. We had gotten into an argument about something stupid and since our bed hadn't arrived yet, she decided to sleep on the couch while I took the floor. But in the middle of the night, I felt two arms wrap around me. When I turned around, I was met with these two, sparkling E/C eyes and a light kiss on my nose. She apologized and I did too then we just lay there, with the lights off, enjoying each other's company until the sun came up. "

You smiled at the memory, kind of seeing where this was going.

"That moment inspired me to write a song and I'm sure everyone here knows it but it's always been just mine and Y/N's song."

Max nodded to the band and they began playing.

"Heaven only knows where you've been
I don't really want to know
I know where you're gonna go
On my heart, where you're resting your head
And you just look so beautiful
It's like you were an angel

Can I stop the flow of time?
Can I swim in your divine?
'Cause I don't think I'd ever leave this place, " Max sang, throwing a smile your way.

You blew a kiss to him and he caught it, placing it over his chest.

"Oh, turn the lights, turn the lights down low
Yeah, now I'm feeling you breathing slow
'Cause baby, we're just reckless kids
Trying to find an island in the flood
Oh, turn the lights, turn the lights down low, oh."

You got up from your seat and walked to Max. He stepped off the stage and walked towards you. You two met in the middle and held hands. Max gently pulled you into him and began slow dancing with you.

"And I will give you everything, baby
Can you feel this energy? Take it
You can have the rest of me, baby
And I will give you everything
Can you feel this energy? Take it
You can have the best of me, baby

Oh, turn the lights, turn the lights down low
Yeah, now I'm feeling you breathing slow
'Cause baby, we're just reckless kids
Trying to find an island in the flood
Oh, turn the lights, turn the lights down low, oh."

When Max finished, everyone started applauding him but neither of you cared because it was as if it was only the two of you in the room.

You pulled him into a kiss and he gladly kissed you back, still holding you close to him.
