Couple's Tag {Ryan Higa}

"Hey guys!" Ryan greeted the camera enthusiastically with a voice crack but then stopped and put his hand on his chest as he did a double take. "Whoa, where did that come from?"

TAKE 2

"Hey guys," Ryan greeted, less enthusiastically that time and without a voice crack. "So today's video is a bit on the heavier side. As you guys and girls probably know, I am currently in a relationship with Y/N Y/L/N from Y/YOUTUBE/CHANNEL. We've been friends for five years, dating for three and she has made a few cameos on my channel and I have on her channel. "

Ryan then proceeded to show a bunch of tiny random snippets from each of your channels when you were together.

"Don't if that helped anyone at all but, you're welcome," he said. "So anyways, we've been dating for a while but I don't know, lately things have felt different between us. We just haven't been feeling like boyfriend and girlfriend lately and then it hit me; I don't want to be Y/N's boyfriend anymore. I don't know how to break the news to her but the best thing I can do right now is just rip off the band-aid."

He then pulled out his phone and pressed your contact. The phone dialled for a few seconds but then you answered.

"Ryan?" you asked. "What's up?"

"Hey, are you doing anything right now?" he asked.

"Um, I'm currently out with friends but after lunch, I could come home," you told him. "Why? What's wrong?"

"We need to talk," he said seriously.

"About what? Is everything okay?"

"I'll explain when you come home."

Then he hung up.

"Well, it's been put into motion now. Wish me luck."

TIME SKIP

Ryan had the camera set up where you and him can be properly seen and heard.

You walked in and saw Ryan sitting on the couch, waiting for you. You sat down next to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Hey, you sounded weird over the phone. Everything okay?" you asked.

"Uhm, that all depends on how you take what I'm about to tell you," he said.

You raised your eyebrow in curiosity but kept quiet, waiting for him to continue.

"Remember how we first met?" Ryan asked.

You began laughing at the memory.

"Of course I do. I playfully tweeted that I was holding auditions for the role of a love interest in one of my videos and you actually responded. I didn't have the heart to turn you down so I created an actual skit that would require a love interest. From then, we became friends and three years ago, I asked you out. "

"Yeah, we've had some great times, huh?"

You nodded.

"I will always treasure the time that we've spent together both as friends and as boyfriend and girlfriend but I can't be your boyfriend anymore," Ryan said.

Tears began filling your eyes. You took a moment to catch your breath and calm down but you couldn't stop the tears from falling.

"In fact, I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore," he continued.

You nodded sadly, not wanting to freak out too much. You were going to leave here with your dignity still intact. You hid your face in your hands.

"Okay," you whimpered. "That's fine."

"Because I wanna be your husband," Ryan finished.

When you pulled your hands off your face, you saw Ryan on one knee, in front of you. He was holding an open black velvet box with a silver, diamond ring inside of it.

"Will you marry me, Y/N?" Ryan asked, hopefully.

You began laughing while still crying.

"Oh my God," you said. "I hate you so much for this."

"Is that a no?" he questioned.

You laughed even harder.

"No," you shook your head. "Of course I'll marry you, you idiot."

Ryan laughed and placed the diamond ring on your finger. You then pulled his face closer to yours and kissed him lovingly.

TIME SKIP

"So that was an interesting journey," Ryan chuckled.

"I thought you were gonna break up with me," you said then playfully hit his chest.

"Ow!" he whined. "That hurt. You know that I'm tender."

"You deserved it for making me cry," you told him.

"To be fair, I never once said the words, 'I'm breaking up with you'. You made that assumption for yourself."

You turned to the camera with an incredulous look on your face then turned back to Ryan.

"You should probably end this video before I end you."
