You were currently at the farm, where Clark grew up, helping his mom move her items onto the pick up truck.

"Thanks again for agreeing to help me out Y/N," she said.

You smiled at her and softly shrugged.

"It's no problem. I needed to do something other than sit around mourn," you told her.

"I understand, honey. Have you spoken to Bruce yet?" she asked you.

"No, I don't even want to hear his name."

"But sweetie, you two have been best friends since childhood," Rose tried reasoning with you.

"Bruce Wayne is no friend of mine," you gritted out.

"You're going to have to talk to him sooner or later."

"I'm gonna need a third option," you joked and Martha chuckled.

Your phone started ringing and as soon as you saw the contact name you rolled your eyes.

"Is that him?" you nodded. "Y/N, you need to talk him."

You groaned and answered the phone reluctantly.

"What is it Bruce?" you snapped.

"Hello to you too Y/N," Bruce said sarcastically.

"Just say what you wanna say or I'm hanging up."

Bruce let out a heavy sigh and began explaining the situation to you. You gasped and your hands began shaking.

"I'll be right there," you said as you hung up. "Martha, I have to go."

She nodded understandably and sent you on your way.

TIME SKIP

From the moment you left your car you were shocked. There he was, flying right in front of you, about to drop Bruce.

"Clark!" you shouted.

He stopped what he was doing and slowly turned to you.

"Clark, it's me," you said with tears in your eyes. "It's me."

He floated to the ground and let Bruce go. He walked up to you and held you in his arms.

"Clark," you whimpered out.

"Y/N," he responded emotionlessly.

And with that he flew away. You two flew around in silence for a while until he stopped in the middle of a maize field.

"You're alive," you said. "How?"

"It doesn't matter. I'm here now and I'm never leaving you ever again," he told you then he kissed you.

You kissed him back as the tears ran down your face.

He was alive. He was actually alive.
