*Spiderman: Homecoming*
Peter Parker×Adopted little sister! Reader

"Bubba," Y/N called out. "Bubba!"

Peter got off the couch and stuck his head through the door crack in her room.

"Yes?" he asked.

"Come in. Come in," she told him.

He chuckled and went into her room. She moved a little bit on her bed and patted on the empty spot next to her. Peter sat on said spot and looked at his little sister curiously.

"You called, your Majesty?" Peter joked.

"Peter," Y/N whined. "I told you not to call me 'Your Majesty'. I prefer Your Highness."

Peter laughed at that then he apologized for his mistake.

"Ans I called you here because I can't sleep."

"This is the third time this week that you haven't been able to sleep. What's going on, N/N?" he asked.

Y/N just shook her head, not wanting to tell her brother the truth. She was being bullied at kindergarten by this group of kids and she doesn't have any friends to stick up for her. The mean words that were said to her and actions done to her by those kids never left her mind, which is why she couldn't sleep.

"Nothing, bubba," she lied. "I just had too much candy today."

"Of course you did. Do you want me to stay with you until you fall asleep again?"

Y/N nodded and cuddled into his chest. After a few minutes, she was out like a light. Peter carefully got up and left her room.

When he went back to the living room he saw Aunt May reading a book.

"May," Peter said.

"Yeah?" May asked.

"Have you noticed anything weird going on with Y/N lately?" Peter asked.

May immediately stopped reading her book and put it down. She looked at Peter with sad, concerned eyes and gestured for him to come sit down.

Peter shot her a confused look and sat next to her on the couch.

"She made me pinky swear to never tell anyone but you're her brother, you deserve to know," May said.

"May, you're scaring me," Peter told her.

"Y/N's being bullied," May said. "She has been for a while now."

"What? How long have you known?" he asked her.

"I only found out earlier on this week. Y/N came home on Monday with tears in her eyes ans gum in her hair. It was terrible. I had to cut out huge chunks of her hair. She was miserable."

Now that May mentioned it, Peter did notice that his little sister's huge, curly afro was much shorter but he didn't really give it a second thought.

"And that's not all. Those kids push her around, make fun of her and call her things like 'Primate Parker'," May listed.

"Oh my God," Peter said.

He couldn't believe it. His little sister is being bullied. Him being bullied, he could handle but somebody that he loved with his whole heart? No, way.

"I know right? How do they even know what a primate is? They're like four," May complained.

"That's not exactly what I'm concerned about May," Peter said.

"Right."

"Why didn't she tell me?" Peter asked her.

"Well, she thought you wouldn't care. Plus, you have so much going on in your life. What with high school, the Stark Internship, your friends. She didn't want to pile up on that," May explained.

Whoa. As if Y/N being bullied wasn't bad enough, she thought that Peter wouldn't care about this. And that hurt, like a lot.

"May, would it be okay if I walked Y/N to school tomorrow?" Peter asked.

May smiled and nodded at him.

"Of course."

"Thanks."

THE NEXT DAY

"Bubba, you do know that I can walk right?" Y/N asked.

Peter was carrying her on his hip and was wearing her backpack.

"That's true, but princesses must never walk, unless it's absolutely necessary," Peter said. "And you are a princess aren't you?"

"Duh!" she exclaimed.

Peter laughed and kissed her cheek which made her laugh. When they reached Y/N's school, she stopped laughing. In fact, her smile disappeared all together. Peter noticed and gently set her on the ground. He kneeled down to her level and looked her in her eyes.

"N/N," he said. "Do you have something you wanna tell me?"

She shook her head.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yep," Y/N lied.

"Y/N, how about I tell you my secret and you tell me yours," Peter suggested and Y/N nodded.

Peter then gestured for Y/N to move in closer and he whispered in her ear,

"I'm Spiderman."

Y/N gasped and covered her mouth while her eyes widened in shock. Peter nodded and smiled at her reaction.

"Really?" she asked and Peter nodded.

"That's what the Stark Internship really is. Now it's your turn," he said.

"The other kids at my school are being mean to me. The push me around, call me names and make fun of me."

Peter already knew about this but it didn't make it hurt any less.

"Hey, listen," he told her. "Those kids are dumb-dumbs. Like, huge dumb-dumbs who are only making fun of you because they're jealous of your awesomeness. Next time someone does or says anything mean to you just look them in the eyes, smile and keep moving forward because one day, you're going to succeed in life and all those dumb-dumbs will work for you."

"Okay," she said.

"Promise?" Peter asked.

He held out his pinky and Y/N linked hers with his. Then they kissed their thumbs and hugged each other.

When they pulled away Peter handed Y/N her bag and bowed before her.

"Shall I come fetch you after school, Your Highness?" Peter asked in a fancy voice.

"But of course, Sir Spidey of Queens," Y/N answered in a fancy voice as well.

She walked into the school and Peter started on his journey to his school.

"Yeah, she's gonna be okay."
