*Captain America:The First Avenger*

You were running down the streets of Brooklyn. There were three men chasing after you and they didn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon.

Not really thinking clearly, you ran into an alley and reached a dead end.

"Oh come on dolly, we ain't gonna hurt ya," one of the men said in a low, raspy voice.

"Yeah. We just wanna show you a good time is all," the second one chuckled creepily. "Ain't that right Chuck?"

The third one spoke up.

"Yeah, a good time," he repeated.

The three men were inching closer towards you and you were slowly backing up until you hit the alley wall.

"You know, I've never tasted chocolate before," the first guy said.

"Really? It's my favourite flavour," the second one remarked with a lick of his lips.

You couldn't help but cringe at their words.

"Help! Somebody please help!" you screamed.

They all started laughing at your useless pleas. When they finally reached you they started rubbing up on you and grabbing your arms so you couldn't attack them.

"Stop it," you whimpered. "Please stop."

"Shh, darlin'. Ain't no one gonna save you now."

"I beg to differ," you heard an unfamiliar voice say.

The guys stopped what they were doing and turned to face the person who spoke, while still keeping a tight grip on you.

In front of you stood a small scrawny man with blue eyes and blonde hair.

"What'ya just say, pipsqueak?" the first man asked.

"I think he just said he begs to differ Johnny," the second guy spoke.

"Yeah, that's what I thought too Ricky but that can't be right. No one, not even a scrawny little tyke, can ever step up to me," Johnny said cockily.

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to leave the woman alone," the blonde guy said, not faltering once.

Johnny let go of you and slowly walked up to the blonde. He stopped right in front of him and stared down at him since he was clearly much taller. But the blonde mystery man didn't even seemed phased by that fact or by the fact that the odds were obviously against him.

"Or what?" Johnny asked him.

The blonde guy pulled his right arm back and took a swing at Johnny's face. As soon as the fist hit him, the other two let go of you and ran towards their injured friend.

"Why you little..."

And then hell broke loose. Chuck, Johnny and Ricky started ganging up on the poor little guy but he didn't let that stop him. He tried fighting back to the best of his ability but sadly, the three stooges had strength, speed and numbers on their side.

For a moment you considered leaving him behind and making a run for it but something wouldn't let you. So, with a heavy sigh, you grabbed the lid of a trash can and started hitting Chuck over the head with it.

When you finished him off you moved on to Ricky. He put up a fight but your blind rage wouldn't let him win. As soon as you saw that he was unconscious, you went to Johnny.

He put up his arms in surrender and cowered away from you.

"Wait, wait! I yield! Don't hurt me," he begged.

"Never come anywhere near me ever again," you growled out.

"I promise," he whimpered.

"Good. Now take your friends and scram."

He shook his friends awake and dragged their bodies out of the alley.

You were so distracted by them leaving that you didn't notice the injured man in front of you. When he started groaning you gasped and kneeled next to his head. You gently laid it on your lap and felt his pulse.

"Excuse me, sir," you said gently shaking him. "I'm gonna need you to tell me your name."

"Steve Rogers," he mumbled, still slightly out of it.

"Well Mr Rogers, I'm Y/Full/N, the woman you just rescued but you can call me Y/N," your said.

"Nice to meet you ma'am," he said back.

"Same here. I just wish it was under different circumstances. Preferably one where you didn't have to get hurt," you joked and Steve lightly chuckled.

You slowly sat him up and rested his body against the wall.

"You feeling any better?" your asked and he nodded.

"Much. Thanks."

"No, thank you. A lot of bad stuff could've happened if you hadn't shown up. You really helped me out," you told him sincerely.

"All in a day's work," he shrugged and you giggled.

"You're truly something else Mr Rogers."

"How so?" he asked.

You sighed and say right next to him with your back against the wall.

"You're nice. A lot of folks around here ain't like that. I'm pretty sure most of them would've seen me screaming for help and just walked away," you said sadly.

You felt a warm hand rest against yours and you see Steve looking at you sympathetically.

"There's still some good people out there Y/N. They're all just... hiding," he said, hoping to make you feel better.

You smiled at his kind gesture.

"Well I'm glad to have you at least." and then you kissed his cheek.

You could see his face turn a deep red shade as he shyly smiled at the ground.
