You stared outside the living room window. It was pouring outside and not only that but it was absolutely freezing.
Even with the fireplace and all of your heaters on, you couldn't help feeling cold. It's almost like something was missing.
Just as you started to blow on your hands you felt a pair of warm arms wrap around your body.
You smiled and happily leaned into them. You heard Tom softly gasp.
"Why are you so cold, love?" he asked you.
You shrugged and cuddled deeper into his chest.
"I'm sick I guess," you answered before lightly sniffling.
"I told you not to go to the beach during the winter. This is what happens when you don't listen to me."
"Well, I happen to really like the beach regardless of the season and weather. It's not my fault you hate it," you replied in a sassy tone.
"I don't hate the beach. I just don't like how much time you have to spend looking for the 'perfect spot', the risk of drowning and getting killed by dangerous creatures in the sea and don't even get me started on all the sand that gets stuck in your swimsuits and ends up on your crotch!" Tom ranted.
You laughed at him before coughing violently. When you stopped you decided to say something.
"You're so cute when you're mad. Like a tiny puppy that didn't get what he wanted for Christmas."
"What would a puppy want for Christmas?" Tom asked.
"I don't know. Ask Santa Paws," you laughed as Tom rolled his eyes.
"You were just waiting for that weren't you?"
"You have no idea."
As soon as you said that you sneezed.
"You don't look so good, babe," Tom said and you clutched your chest and gasped dramatically.
"What's that supposed to mean, Thomas?"
Tom playfully rolled his eyes and kissed your forehead.
"You know what I meant."
Tom gently pushed you off his chest and lifted up his huge, oversized sweater.
"Get in, here," Tom said.
With a large smile, you crept into the sweater and wrapped your arms around Tom's waist. And just like that, you finally felt warm.
"How do you feel now, love?" he asked lovingly.
"So much better," you said before sighing happily. "I love sweater weather."
