"Wh-wh-what do you mean it's over?" you asked.
"I mean, it's over," your husband, Tobias said to you. "I think we should start seeing other people."
You kept your head down and clenched the tablecloth tightly in your hands.
"By 'other people', do you mean Orchid?"
Orchid is your guys' twenty year old neighbour. She moved in ten months ago and your husband hasn't been able to keep his eyes off of her and she couldn't keep her hands off of him.
"Yes," he answered, slightly ashamed.
"So, you're telling me that you're throwing away our fifteen years of marriage for a girl who was probably born around the time we first met?" you asked with a shaky voice.
"Y/N, don't do this now please," Tobias pleaded.
"Don't do what now Tobias? Don't make a scene? Do you want me to calm down and act like everything's okay?"
You lifted your head and unclenched your hands. You let out a loud laugh and started hitting your hands on the table.
"Why? Do you not want this entire restaurant to hear that you are leaving me for a college sophomore?!" you shouted which made a lot of people look at you.
Then you grabbed your glass of wine and a fork and stood up. You hit the fork against the glass which got the attention of the rest of the restaurant.
"Excuse me, everyone. I would like to make a toast," you announced. "First, a toast to my soon to be ex-husband who slept with our neighbour who isn't even the legal drinking age yet"
"Y/N," he hissed out. "Stop it."
"Secondly, a toast to fifteen years of marriage down the drain. But finally —and this is the most important part, folks— a toast to no more mediocre sex where I've faked more orgasms than I have not."
Some of the restaurant people laughed at that and you laughed too.
Tobias stood up from his chair and glared at you.
"That's enough!"
You threw your drink in his face.
"No, Tobias. That, is enough," you remarked.
Then you flipped your hair over your shoulders and walked out like a boss, while the entire restaurant cheered for you.
When you were about two blocks away from the restaurant, you clutched your chest and let out a gasp.
"Oh my God. What did I just do?" you asked yourself. "I need a drink. A strong, strong drink."
Thing is, you didn't feel like going to a bar though. So instead, you just kept walking until you heard loud, ground shaking music, which obviously meant party.
And not just any party. A college party. Damn, you wad gonna get turnt tonight.
You walked into the party and some college students seemed pretty shocked to see one of their professors at a party.
Tired of their stares, you turned to them with an annoyed look on your face.
"What? Y'all act like you ain't never seen me before, damn. Chill," you told them.
They all looked away and went back to what they were doing except for one of the students.
His intense blue eyes followed her into the and soon, the rest of his body followed.
"Mrs DaVoe," he said. "It's been a while."
"Lucky Blue Smith," you smiled. "It has."
Lucky used to be one of your students but he dropped out about a year to pursue his modelling career.
He was one of your favourite students so it really bummed you out when he left.
"What're you doing here?" he asked you. "Isn't this a college party?"
"Shouldn't I be asking you the same question?" you asked him.
He let out a chuckle and nodded.
"Touche. But really though, what are you doing here?"
You let out a sigh and downed the contents of the red solo cup you were holding.
"Tobias and I are getting a divorce," you told him.
"Oh," Lucky said. "I'm so sorry. I didn't kno—"
"Nah, it's fine. It's probably for the best anyways. He would prefer to be with someone who's less than half his age and I would prefer to be satisfied in bed so," you stated with a shrug.
Lucky's eyes darkened when you said that and before you knew it, you were pinned against the kitchen wall.
"Well, I can't help the husband thing but I can help with the satisfaction thing."
He then wrapped your left leg around his waist as he began grinding on you. You were worried you'd attract unnecessary attention but everyone was busy with their own things.
"Lucky, I just found out that I was getting a divorce. I'm not looking for a relationship right now," you said.
"That's fine," he said as he kissed your neck. "Neither am I."
