*WWE Smackdown*
"Mrs Anoa'i, thank you for joining us here today," the principal of your triplets' school said.
"No problem, Mr Graeme," you said.
"Is Mr Anoa'i going to be joining us today?" he asked.
Your face fell and you shook your head sadly. Noticing your sudden change in mood, your daughter reached out and placed her hand on yours. You smiled at her and turned back to Mr Graeme.
"No, he won't be," you told him.
"Oh," Mr Graeme said. "Well, we're here to discuss your sons' behaviour."
"Oh Lord, what did they do now?" you asked while running your temples.
"Today, Xavier saw a boy being verbally assaulted and so he decided to defend him..." Graeme began.
"Oh, that's nice," you smiled.
"Wait for it," Monet, your daughter mumbled.
"By Superman Punching him," Mr Graeme finished. "And he didn't stop there, he also stood on the table and Suicide Dived onto him then he Samoan Slammed him."
You let out a tired sigh.
"Okay, Xavier I understand but why is Kai in trouble too?" you asked.
"Kai was in the back, taking a video, hyping Xavier up," Graeme explain. "Look, Mrs Anoa'i, I actually like your sons. They're honestly some of our best students but lately they've been acting out and I don't know why."
"Oh, I know why," you muttered. "Thanks for calling me in Mr Graeme. Enjoy the rest of your day."
Then you walked out of the office, Monet trailing behind you. Your sons were sitting outside the office looking ashamed of themselves. You just gave them a look of crushing disappointment that let them know that they fucked up.
You turned to your daughter and asked with a monotone voice,
"Monet, you have enough money for an Uber, right?"
She just nodded.
"Good," you said. "Order one for yourself and only yourself."
You were almost out the door when you heard Xavier call out,
"Whoa, mom! What about us?"
Without looking at him you responded,
"Seeing as how you're grown enough to beat down other kids and cheer each other on, you're obviously grown enough to find your own way home."
Then you walked out.
TIME SKIP
You power walked through the WWE Training Center with only one thing on your mind; finding Roman.
You ended up colliding with someone. He grabbed onto you to make sure you didn't fall and get hurt.
"Whoa, slow down, love," he said with his thick Scottish accent. "Where's the fire?"
You struggled to get out of his grip and tried to push him away.
"Hey, Y/N, calm down. What's wrong?"
Instead of listening, you just carried on squirming which resulted in Drew lifting your head by your chin so he could look you in your eyes. Once your E/C eyes met his blue ones you instantly calmed down and stopped struggling.
"What's wrong?" he asked you again.
You let out another tired sigh.
"Xavier and Kai got into trouble again. That's like the third time I've been called in this week and I'm so sick of it Drew," you cried. "I'm sick of it and it's not like I have anyone backing me up. My friends have their own lives, my family is too far away to do anything and Joe is constantly working."
Tears started rushing down your face and you didn't even bother to stop them. Drew pulled you closer and gently kissed your forehead.
"Hey, you're not alone. I'm right here for you and I'll always be here, okay?"
You nodded. After he let you go, you went to the place you knew Joe would be.
He was brutally attacking a punching bag when you walked in.
"Joe," you said.
He carried on attacking the punching bag.
"Joe," you tried again.
Still nothing.
"Joseph!" you yelled, which made him stop in his tracks but he didn't turn around. "We need to talk."
He walked to the bench that was resting against the wall on the opposite side of the room.
"Xavier and Kai—"
"Got into trouble again and it's like the third time this week," he finished for you.
"Um, yeah," you agree. "And Joe I'm —"
"Sick of it and it's not like you have anyone backing you up. Your friends have their own lives, your family is too far away to do anything and I am constantly working," Joe interrupted again.
You had a confused look on your face. That was almost exactly what you told Drew.
"Yeah, I know. I heard everything you said to Drew," he explained. "Why didn't you tell me anything earlier?"
"How could I have?" you asked him. "You're gone before I wake up and come back when I'm sleeping. I swear, it's almost like you're trying to avoid me."
"Y/N, I have to work these hours so I can —"
"Yeah, I know," you interrupted. "So you can provide for the family but honestly, Joe, I'd rather have you at home. I mean, I have a job too but I make time for our family."
"You think I don't make time for our family?" Joe asked you. "What about on our anniversary? I took a day off for us but you didn't even remember that it was our anniversary and worked an extra shift."
"Okay, that was a mistake on my part and I've already apologized. You said you forgave me!"
"I did, but that doesn't mean I forgot. This job requires my all, Y/N."
"So does your family Joseph. Or what, did you forget that?" you argued back.
"I always put my family first. I've been there for every important event so forgive me for missing a few meetings with the principal," he told you.
"Do you even know why we were called in? Xavier beat down a kid and Kai was cheering him on. Our sons are acting out and Monet's grades are seriously dropping," you said.
"And that's my fault?" he asked you.
"That's not what I'm saying," you tried.
"Then what are you saying?"
"I'm saying I'm tired!" you exclaimed. "I'm tired of getting called in. I'm tired of being the only parent our kids see. I'm tired of fighting. I'm tired, Joseph."
You didn't even notice you were crying until you felt a teardrop hit your hand. You sat down on a bench because you could barely keep yourself up anymore.
Joe walked over to your side of the room and kneeled down in front of you. He held your hands in his and kissed them.
"I'm sorry," he apologized. "I'll try to make more time for us. For our family."
"That's what you said last time," you cried.
"I know," he said. "But it's all I can offer you right now. Just don't do anything rash, okay?"
"Okay," you nodded.
Although you were both calm now, you knew that it was only a matter of time before you fought again and that's why you bought the papers with you.
'Not now,' you thought to yourself. 'Not today.'
